Installed on a 20L pail. Installation was a breeze. No leaks. 3/8' ID tubing fits the complete outlet vs 5/16" ID fits (& works with most watering nipples) but doesn't slide all the way up (yet is still very secure).I recommend and would buy again if I ever need more.Only reason it doesn't get five stars is the tap functions different than a typical valve (meaning when handle crosses the flow direction, to either side, the flow should be off. and when handle is in middle, the flow should be on). When handle is fully right, water flows. When handle is center or to the left, water flow is off.

Installed on 5 gallon buckets, drill a whole, tighten a plastic nut.. done. Once your wine has settled, you don't need to run a siphon hose, just open the faucet to either pour a glass, or fill a bottle. Clean, and doesn't drip. you can even hook siphon hose up to the spigot, if you want more control, but I didn't need to.

Another reviewer said to warm the silicone gaskets in warm water before installing them - I did that and it worked perfectly. I’m not exceptionally handy and had no trouble installing these.
