Bought this from Amazon in mid-April 2021, by early August it was no longer working. Display shows a corrupt file system. Polycom shows this unit was originally shipped in 2019. Either way, it's out of warranty. Out of warranty repairs at Polycom have a $500 minimum. It's cheaper to purchase another phone than to repair. This time, I'll buy from a Polycom dealer instead of Amazon's third-party source.

I would have chosen ZERO stars if that was an option! I actually like the phone. Until it stopped working for no reason. It "lost" its software and you can't even TALK to anyone at American Telecom Headquarters. You can't even get passed the operator to ask a simple question, if you purchase through Amazon. You have to go through email and they can take 2 days to even get back to you. American Telecom Headquarters says it an Amazon issue. Horrible if you need simple, quick customer service.

We have been using a desk phone for conference calls up until now. It worked but people at the end of the table were practically yelling to be heard and the we occasionally got feedback due to the speaker being cranked all the way up. We recently went with a new phone system and decided to try an actual conference phone out to see how much of a difference there was. Needless to say we will not being using the desk phone any more! everyone around the table is heard at normal tackling levels, and the sound output is loud and clear. Polycom did these right. I will say that the retail price on these is way high, which is why we bought this one used. Couldn't tell it was used out other then it was not factory packed and had an old config on it. They are on the big size, but we have a 12' table and it looks nice and are not in the way. Buying a few more for other locations. We are using these with 3CX v14. setup was a breeze, create or assign an extension, pick the phone type as ip6000 and enter the mac address and enter any other settings you need. You will need to use DHCP option 66 to provide the provisioning link, and you will need to download the newest firmware to the fw folder. We are already using option 66 so i just had to download the firmware.

I purchased this conference table phone for our 20 x 12 conference room. We gather 15 people around the table during weekly meetings. Before we had this unit our remote workers would always be asking us to speak up and it was also difficult for us to hear them. Once we had this unit installed, they were amazed at how clear and loud we sounded. We have it hooked in via IP to our NEC SV8100. Works very well.

4-Stars as the product works well for our needs. However the unit is defective and we are now beyond the return date. The lights don't function as they should. Hitting mute the 3 leds don't light up to identify whether the mute is on. Wish we could return it for a another unit.

Funktioniert mittels Netzwerkkabel. Wir haben PoE, daher reicht ein Kabel und die Spinne funktioniert. Ich finde sie etwas umständlich einzustellen und sehr sehr teuer. We use this in our 20x24' conference room and it's generally a great phone for the price. Sound quality is excellent, and even without the add-on microphones, we can put 8-10 people around our conference table and everyone can be heard clearly. We use this with RingCentral as our provider, and this was the only problem. Normally, for a customer-supplied phone, RingCentral just gives you a user name and password for the device, but since they have their own version of this exact phone, they try to provision it more automatically - and this was a big mistake. Apparently, they download custom firmware into the phone, at the app they use was incompatible with the software that comes on the phone. Took erasing the phone, setting up my own provisioning server and uploading the latest Polycom firmware into the phone to get it going again - and of course, the second time I refused to let RingCentral provision the phone...just entering a user/password from them worked fine. With that out of the way, the phone indeed works great and has been completely reliable. We used to have the equivalent Cisco product...it works well too, but the Cisco is more than triple the price.Definitely a good choice for a conference phone

Polycom has some GREAT conference phones, and for our needs this one was dead on and does not disappoint. We ended up purchasing a second one for one of the offices as well. This phone worked perfectly linked to our Cudatel phone system and being all digital made it the perfect match to allow us to eliminate the need for any hokey converters to allow the use of our older analog soundstation units. The call quality and noise cancellation are phenomenal, as expected of the polycom units - and this particular phone easily facilitates larger conference rooms with each end of the table being able to be heard clearly when speaking naturally.
