No auto on/off! Open hole in bottom where your pool cover can be drawn into pump, which drills a hole into your very expensive cover. Also a bit top heavy and tends to tip when you attach to a garden hose, but at least there is a garden hose option.I would have kept it despite the lack of auto on/off if the damage to my cover did not happen because it is well priced, seems sturdy, and pumps fast. But now I need a new pool cover and I cannot risk it destroying a replacement one too! I must return this and continue my quest for a decent pool cover pump that lasts and does the basic things it should do.Would work perhaps in a pond, or to drain a sump pit, and the water is relatively clean and free of leaves. This is not the case for most pool covers that collect leaves. I do not recommend it for pool covers.I posted this review before with videos and pics to show the issues but Amazon refused to post the review. I have no idea why.

This is NOT auto on and off. Or a check valve they are incompetent to understand. You must pull the plug from the outlet to power off. Nothing about this is automatic as stated

Great pump with a good design, doesn't suck up all the leaves with it. Cleared my pool cover fast. Easy assembly and very quite motor. Auto shut off is handy too. All around happy with happy with purchase. Thanks!!!

When you first open the pump, it doesn’t look like much. There is a translucent hose that needs to have all of its kinks worked out. If you have kinks, the pump doesn’t pump. It takes about two hours to empty a 500 gallon jacuzzi. It did what we wanted it to do, but the hose was a pain.

Really good it pumps water continuosly, no noise and its great to circulate water in the Intex pools through the filter.Also you can you it as a jet, kids love it

Purchased Edou and it didn't work. My pool cover fell in! Purchased the Agiiman several months ago. Was finally able to use it and it works perfectly. Cover still in tact.
