What will influence the Electric Car Charger fully charging your battery?
- Your EV’s battery size: the bigger it is, the longer it will take to charge.
- Your electric vehicle charging equipment max power capacity: even if the vehicle on-board charger can accept a high power, if the home electric vehicle charging stations can only output less, it will not charge the vehicle as fast as it can.
- Your EV’s on board charger power capacity: it can only accept a maximum power intake on 120V and 240V. If the electric car charger can supply more, the vehicle will limit the charging power and affect the time to charge
- Environmental factors: a very cold or very hot battery can limit the max power intake and thus affect charging time.

How to connect with the App for Godiag EV charger level 1 and 2 ?
1. You can scan the QR code on the user manual to download the app or just search "smart life" in the app store.
2. Open the installed APP, click "Agree privacy Statement", and log into the APP after registration. Plug and charge to enter the Plug and Play charging mode. Open the Location, Bluetooth, and Wifi of the mobile phone. If the Godiag Level 1 and Level 2 ev charger is in standby state, the APP will automatically search for the charging device and the device name will be displayed.
3. Click "Add" to add the device, enter the WIFI pairing interface, automatically identify the WIFI name of the phone. Click “Next”, and the EV charger will be automatically connect. After the connection is successful, a message will be displayed indicating that the EV Car charger has been successfully added. Finally, click the icon of "Finish" and wait about 5 seconds for the device to be bound.
4. You can also click "+" in the upper right corner of the APP to manually add the electric car charger, select the category of "Energy saving" in the left column, pull up the device type, find the device "EV Charger (Bluetooth + WIFI)", Click to enter, then follow the prompts and click on "Confirm if the indicator light is flashing", then click on "Quick flashing" again.
5. Enter the WIFI password (WIFI password connected to the mobile phone) and click "Next" to match the password, and set the bound device as prompted.
6. After binding the device, charge it according to the APP interface. In addition, the application can also support the functions of "adjusting current" and "delayed charging".

I have really enjoyed this charger after having it for 3 months. I have only used the level 1 charger thus far as I do not have the correct outlet for the level 2 charger.I have a 2017 VW e-Golf with a 125 mile range. To get a full charge from 20-30 milles remaining in the charge, I need to have it parked and plugged in when I get home at 5:30pm and it's full by the time I leave for work at 8:00am the next day. For those with higher ranges, you will likely need more time than that with the level 1 charger.I can't speak for the level 2 charger personally, although my friends do have this charger and use the level 2 option for their VW ID 4 and they easily get it from nearly empty to full range overnight.The range of the charger is great and I can easily get the charger from my outlet to my car without stretching the cord. It's light and easy to store when I'm not using it. Additionally, the app is great when tracking how much electricity you use and is very accurate as far as kWh consumed.

I've been renting EVs and sometimes park it overnight or longer at family house. This is a good way to make use of that parking time so I can have an ownership like experience. Ive so far only really done level 1 since I have to use a 110V outlet (with the included adapter). But I'm happy with the throughput on that.The app is helpful to monitor and works with BT only if needed.It's a little challenging to wrap the cord back up to fit in the travel bag, but a little patience and common sense will get you there.Mix of sturdy cable and lightweight but tough plastic housing and charge port is probably a good way to make it durable but as light as can be for this kind of thing.

I only use it for level 1 charging but it works well. I like the adjustment for amps so I don't overwork the circuit. Wifi connectivity is also nice to have. Never has let me down, had it about 4 months.
