This 40Amp EV Charger by Mustop, is a solid quality option with higher power output, that’s easy to use and take with you for any Tesla owner. Let’s take a closer look at what may or may not make this a good choice for your situation.I. Quality – This charger looks and feels like it’s a well-made choice that appears to be made out of good quality materials. However, it definitely has a generic look to it, other than the company name. I’d put the main unit in the upper-middle level of the quality scale for at home EV chargers, and guess it should hold up well over time.II. Performance – It’s been a great performer that’s easy to use, with a high rate of charge (40A max), which is high for what’s currently available. Some are offering as high as 50A, but it’s rarely needed and comes with a higher cost typically. The cables are thicker than most, well-made, but on the very shorter end at 20ft, with the typical length being 25 feet. I really like that is comes with a NEMA 5-15 adaptor, so you can plug into a standard house outlet if needed. It also comes with two useful wall mounts for the main unit and the charging end, which is nice to have. The included bag is on the cheaper side, but at least it comes with one if you need to bring it along. You can easily choose between different levels of charge to accommodate all situations. The back of the connections is especially good at keeping water out, if accidentally exposed to water, with an IP67 rating. It's very compact for an EV charger and easily portable.Overall, this is a solid choice that offers high charging abilities, info screen, great performance and water resistance for outdoor use. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

This EVSE is nearly the complete package. The NACS connector is great. Auto manufacturers are already adopting it and it is nice to finally have a real standard. The Tesla app is great of course and allows for monitoring, amperage control and scheduling for people who live in areas in which their utilities utilize time-of-use rates. While this is great, it is also a bit of a downside for people who do not have a Tesla and either use an adapter for the J1772 connector or buy a non Tesla later that has a NACS connector. I don't think they will be able to use the Tesla app since they don't have a Tesla vehicle. An independent app may have been better and/or more future proof for this EVSE. The EVSE does come with an LCD if you are in proximity to it and do not want to use the app. As well this EVSE supports Level 1 charging which is great for portability. The only major downside I see to this EVSE is the 20-Foot cable. It has become quite common to see 25-26' cables for larger vehicles. Other than that and the app being restricted only to Tesla vehicles, there is not much else to complain about. This is an excellent value IMO.

This is one of the better level 1 / level 2 chargers I've tried out. Not only does it have a fairly stout "level 2" capability at 40A (very good for a "dual level" charger), which means it can do "at-home" charging, it also does pretty well at level 1 as well. The description photos are a bit misleading, though, as you really don't (read: can't) hang this from a 120v socket, it'll pull right out. So, don't try to hang this from a 120v socket, it won't work well. This is, by far, one of the best portable chargers you can have. It has good 240v performance, and 120v flexibility so you can literally charge anywhere you can find an outlet. There's an app, if you like to have lots of control over your charging activities, but you don't have to use the app, you can do pretty much everything right on the charger's screen, which is nice. Not all of us want an app for everything. In terms of value, this ranks VERY high, at only $200 bucks it's an extremely good deal, and highly worth having to keep in your car. 5 stars, highly recommended.

I recently purchased this for my family to use when they visit, and it has been a great addition. The ability to switch between Level 1 (110V) and Level 2 (240V) charging makes it super versatile. Setup was straightforward, and the 26-foot cable provides plenty of reach, making it easy to plug in without rearranging cars. My family has used it multiple times without issues, and the charging speed at Level 2 is fast enough to keep them going without long waits. It’s also compact enough to store away when not in use.Overall, this charger has been a reliable and convenient solution for guests. If you need a portable charger that works well at home or on the go, this is a solid choice!

I got this EVSE for our 22 Tesla Model 3. I plan to use this one for that car so I can get mine back for my other car. I like this unit is 40 amps, NACS connector without an adapter, and has a nice carrying case for trips. The wall bracket holds the body nicely to the wall so I can keep the cord cleanly wrapped around the cord hanger. The display gives enough data to determine how much energy is going to the vehicle, how much has been sent to the vehicle total, and temp stats on the unit. The wand will open the charge door in preparation for charging at the press of the button.I cannot believe the low price of this unit for all that you get. I definitely recommend this unit if you need a good travel charger or need something at home with 40 amps supply and have an available 14-50 receptical to plug it into. The 120V outlet works well, i just don't have a need for it as Level 1 charging takes too long.
