I'm completely blown away via the fine and the craftsmanship of this Tesla charger. simply make sure you cross over the makes and fashions to make sure that it will likely be a well matched option for you. i latterly were given a Tesla on his car lot so I were given this charger for him so he can absolutely deploy this and preserve it completely charged and geared up. He said that this used to be great smooth and simple to put in. The directions are beneficial for buying everything set up. once the entirety is set up and prepared to head it works flawlessly with no trouble. The Tesla charger is basically fine first-rate, and the 22-foot cable makes it simply flexible. you can region it both indoor or outdoor, which is likewise convenient, mainly for our purposes as we wanted both a Tesla and an all other EV charger each to put for community use. The ease of clever charging is any other spotlight. i can manipulate my charging classes and monitor power usage via the app. It’s clean to use and gives exact manipulate over charging speeds, which is extremely good for optimizing software rates. Adjustable contemporary, and scheduling are all available via the app. RFID capable, with a pleasant size liquid crystal display display screen. You get 22 feet of cable and the charger is rated for outside use. when you have a newer electric device, 2 hundred Amp carrier with area for two breakers inside the panel, then you may install this plenty easier. NACS connector is high first-rate and reliably opens rate port door. Cable is also long lasting and doable, and is only barely warm at complete velocity 48 Amps. you can dangle the cable at the blanketed holder or around the charger shroud itself. It mounts very securely to the wall, and may be mounted easily. The cellular app is fundamental however it has precise information and it appropriately tracks, shows, and reviews charging statistics. My Tesla gets the full 48A and it really works like a attraction. Mine is set up outdoor and it’s water resistant.

My setup involves two side-by-side 40-foot shipping containers used for storage and as a garage. I already have one EV charger installed inside for when I park there, but I frequently park just outside and needed a second charger to avoid leaving the container doors open simply to run a cable. This charger was an excellent solution. Aesthetically, it's quite similar in design to my official Tesla Wall Connector located near the house, just finished in black (seems Toyota isn't the only brand taking design inspiration from other brand these days!).The unit feels robustly built and features a helpful display and an RFID reader for access control if needed. Critically, it can deliver up to 48A (providing 11.5kW), matching the maximum AC charging speed for Tesla vehicles. The native NACS plug is a major convenience, especially since I've now standardized on Tesla vehicles after less positive experiences with other EVs.However, the standout feature is its integration with the Tuya / SmartLife app ecosystem.Tuya compatibility opens up a vast range of automation possibilities. You can easily set schedules to charge only during off-peak electricity hours, potentially trigger charging only when excess solar power is detected (if you have a compatible smart home setup), create notifications or other automations base on several parameters. This smart integration truly elevates the charger, adding significant value to what is already a solid 5-star device based on its hardware capabilities alone. It perfectly addresses my need for convenient, powerful, and intelligent outdoor charging for my unique container garage setup.

I've been using a Tesla mobile charger with my Model 3 on 220v for the last year and was excited about the opportunity for faster charging. When I received the charger, I was immediately impressed with the design and quality. The charger looks nice and seems to be well-designed. Thankfull,y the location we wanted to install the charger was pretty close to our electrical panel so a quick trip to the electrical supply store and about $150 in supplies got us started. We had converted our clothes dryer to gas so we had an open spot on the electrical panel. On the hardware side, my only criticism of the charger is that the NACS plug is designed more like a J1772 where it gets wider as opposed to most NACS chargers that are narrow the whole way. I doubt I would have noticed the difference except for the fact that the wider design prevents the plug from fitting into the holder we were using with our previous charger.Where I ran into a little inconvenience with the charger is when I went to use it to charge. The product description mentions a number of different charging mode,s including Real-Time charging, scheduled charging, delayed charging, etc.I was expecting that I'd just plug the charger in and it would start charging like every other charger I've owned. Unfortunately, when I plugged it in, it didn't start charging. After spending some time looking for settings on both the car and the charger, I tried the RFID tag and the charger started charging.Thankfully I was able to message the seller and got quick responses. After a bit of troubleshooting it was determined that our charger is set to only charge when unlocked by the included RFID tags or when turned on with the SmartLife App.Unfortunately, none of the other options for charging seem to be available. The app only shows "Real-Time Charge" or "Delayed Charging" but both require manual action in the app or the RFID tag. (I even tried some of the automatic settings in the app like starting charging after the charger is plugged in but none of those worked either,)The seller was very responsive and says that this is a software oversight. They were unable to upgrade the software over the air so they say they will send me a new model when it is available. While I appreciate being able to charge much faster, there have been a number of times someone plugs the car in and forgets to start charging. It is important to mention that I've not found any way to do a scheduled charge like is mentioned in the product description.Overall, I'm satisfied with the "AWESAFE Level 2 EV Charger for Tesla, 48 Amp Mobile Charger, EV Level 2 Charger NEMA 14-50/Hardwired WiFi Enabled, Smart APP Control Electric Vehicle Charging Stations - Outdoor/Indoor Home Use" but I'm looking forward to a software update.
