This horizontal quick clamp can be mounted in any 3/4" dog hole on your workbench, making it ideal for vertical clamping your bench projects.
The adjustable clamp jaw slides easily along the polished steel rail, providing you with a wide range of clamping options. The upper post features a milled flat that keeps the cast aluminum arm from twisting and a lock knob that positions the arm at the required height, providing a powerful and rigid clamping action.

The ergonomic handle has a comfortable grip that makes it easy to use, and the sandblasted unpainted finish gives the holdfast arm a heavy-duty industrial look. I was initially unimpressed, finding them clunky looking, perhaps overbuilt, however once I started using them, they became my preferred clamps for that type of job, and I use them more than all my others.ATTENTION POWERTEC : What I'd appreciate on them all however, is a large hard torx socket on the end of the handle solid with the screw shaft so I can use my impact wrench to speed tighten them

I've been a woodworker for 30 years and run a furniture and cabinet shop. These are the best hold-downs out there for clamping face frames and joining rails to stiles with blind pocket screws. Tremendous downward pressure keeps the joints together with the pieces flat and even to each other. I've tried Rocker, Kreg, Grizzly, and Festool. Powertec is a clear winner. Super strong metal construction which fits into 3/4" bench holes. Plenty of room for multiple wood thicknesses. 2 clamps seem to work best when doing face frames.
