These brushes are great foe two reasons. One, the quality! These brushes are wound on brass wire which doesn't crush the bronze brush bristles in the winding process like steel wire does. (Steel wound brushes crush the bronze bristles which causes them to fatigue and brake off leaving them everywhere in the weapon and your work station) Two, they are wound close to the end which makes them clean all the way sown to the breach plug. Highly recommended!

I’ve ordered other .54 cal brushes for my fixed breech hawken. They always are a nightmare to pull back out. This one was right, but manageable! I bought some extras!

I would have given it a 5 star review if the thread size worked on standard cleanimy rods. Have not found one too match. Otherwise a five star item. Good match to bore size..
