Bearing seized and the whole thing came apart after about a month, seems to have a few openings that allow sawdust to get into it, once the bearing locks it kinda just unscrews itself and falls apart.

Finally decided to pick up one of these and can't believe I turned this long without it. It works great and is so convenient having the keyless chuck.

I put this on a well dated Delta that should have hit the scrap pile some time ago, but this chuck corrected nearly all the run out issues I was having with the factory chuck.

This is a game changer for me. It's a solid and heavy chuck, very easy to tighten and does not slip. This is a lot more accurate (true) than the standard keyed chuck I've been using for a few years. Wish I had bought it sooner.

6 months of use and here's my report. Not really machinest grade but fantastic for woodworking. Huge range of hold, easy to install and uninstall when you need something different. Good holding strength. Haven't had any bits slip.Highly recommend for anyone that does mostly soft metals and wood working.

I use this to drill pen blanks and works like a charm without having to search for a chuck key. Was a bit worried about the hold but it hugs bits very tight with only moderate tightening force. Great buy.

This is a decent quality keyless chuck, that's great for hobby use but not quite salty enough for professional use. I've used Albrecht before, and this ain't it. But, it's a tiny fraction of the cost of an Albrecht, and will give most woodturners nothing less than excellent performance. It doesn't run as perfectly true as say, a real Jacobs brand keyed chuck, but it's not bad either.Fit and finish are very nice, with a clean, professional appearance and no burrs or irregularities. With a light twist of the wrist to the sleeve to snug it down onto the drill shank, it grips securely enough for twist, forstner, and brad point drills under say, 5/8" diameter. Bigger drills, especially big spade drills, will try to turn in the chuck unless you put some "big arm elbow grease" one, with a deliberate, two-handed twist. Both closure and opening are smooth and clean, with a nice, tight feel and very little backlash in the mechanism. The big plus here is that you don't need a key.

This chuck far exceeded my expectations, inexpensive and I can find nothing wrong with it at all. It works as it should and seems well made and should last a long time under hobby use. Now I don't have to hunt for that blasted chuck key that is in the pile of shavings on the floor anymore. I have had no drill bits spinning in the chuck it locks tight with only a firm twist of the chuck, so easy and handy. At this price it is hard to go wrong, a bargain hiding in plane sight in a field of too rip-off pricing.

I needed a good quality 2MT drill chuck for my new JET wood lathe. I had a Jacobs keyed chuck but with a 1MT. After doing some research, found favorable reviews on the PSI chuck. Got this within a week and thanks to Amazon consistently fast shipping . I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this part for it appears solid and well made. The jaws move very smooth and seems precise and tight which is very important for a drill chuck. The collar is thick and has deep knurled surface for good grip which is very useful in tightening the chuck even with sweaty hands. The 2MT taper fits precisely and very snug in my lathe spindle. I have used the chuck to drill large holes with my Fostner bits and the chuck held rigid and rock solid during the operations. I expect this to last a long time as it is a static tool with very little moving parts. So in summary this appears to be a good deal for the money.Pros: Solid and heavy construction. Smooth moving and tight fitting jaws. Precise and tight fit to 2MT spindle. Excellent price point for the quality, i.e value for money*****.Cons: None so far. New in my hands so the question of durability.
