When the first kit arrived I opened it and inspected the contents. I prepared to install and noticed the reductor was installed with a cross threaded screw and could not be adjusted. I returned it and asked for a replacement. When the next kit arrived. Everything looked good. A few days later I installed it, started the car and set the timing. I thought all was good. Last weekend I took the car out and found that when I ran the engine hard, full throttle, the engine would consistently backfire. I removed the electronic module from the car and replaced it took it for a test drive. It ran perfect, not backfiring. When I checked, the last return date was yesterday, Sunday. The Distributor was defective in the first kit and the Module was defective in the second kit and I am a day late and more than a dollar short! Not a good investment!

It took some time to wire everything correctly, but the end result was fantastic. Went from the original points distributor to this upgraded electronic ignition here. Night and day difference. Don't be afraid to look up additional information online if you have any trouble with installation, lots of support out there. Take your time to do it right. Great product for a great price have done 2 drives to date with no issues.
