There's lots to appreciate about this vacuum, especially over a lighter duty model like you'd typically find at a big box store. The suction is very strong, and it's able to maintain that strong suction not just the port of the unit, but over the full length of the hose, at the powerhead, at the attachements, etc.The power head, likewise, is solidly built and - as the name suggests - actually has a motor driven brush, rather than simply air driven, which makes this far more effective on carpets.I also like the attachements all store under a cover - I've had a lot of vacuums over the years where attachments fall off every time you carry it around, bump it in and out of the closet, etc. And, eventually, they seem to become lost altogether.This vacuum, especially the motor unit, has some weight to it - it's not lightweight. If you have physical considerations which make that a challenge, as other reviews have pointed out - this probably isn't the best choice. But that weight is for good reason - you can tell by the feel of this thing, how the motor sounds, the lack of squeaks in the plastic, etc - that it's made better than average is in line with the "commercial" way it's described in the listing. If you're physically able to deal with that weight - I suspect it'll offer payback in terms of longevity and durability.Arrived safely packed (in a *surprisingly* big box), included a few extra bags, and a usefully long cord.

This vacuum is lightweight and easy to carry up and down the stairs with the handle; it is easy to put together; it has really good suction and pulls up more hair and dirt than the Shark. Easy to manuver around; I really like the adjustable height of the floor attachment; Like how easy the retractable cord works;Does a great job on hardwood and carpet; the only thing we didn't like is the crevis tool gets knocked off when you pick the vacuum up.

I've been using the Prolux Phantom Canister Vacuum for a few weeks now, and I'm genuinely impressed with how well it handles pet hair. I have a dog that sheds constantly, and this vacuum has made a noticeable difference in how clean my floors and carpets feel. The suction is strong enough to pull up hair embedded in the carpet, and the Wessel Werk power head glides smoothly without feeling bulky or hard to maneuver.It's lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around the house, and I really appreciate how quiet it is compared to other vacuums I’ve owned. Switching between different surfaces is simple thanks to the suction adjustment, and I haven’t needed to change attachments constantly. I also like knowing the HEPA filter is helping keep the air cleaner, especially since pet dander can linger.Overall, it’s been a great buy and has taken a lot of the hassle out of daily cleanups. I honestly haven’t run into any real issues with it, it just works well and does exactly what I hoped it would.
