As a disabled person I have very limited energy and processing power.This mold is very easy to use.I never have to lubricate it with regular dough viscosity.It releases baked pies and cakes very easily.The only cons are it is small (about 7") and does not hold shape on its own.I always place it on oven safe plate or tray when baking.Another thing I recommend is soak it in soapy water (dishwashing soap) for a few hours after using, especially if you got more intricately shaped one.Because dishwasher will not be able to get into all of these grooves and you will end up with funny smelling pie mold.Which will cause you suffering if you have sensory sensitivity to smell.I have made many delicious pies and cakes using this mold.I am very pleased with my purchase.I plan to order it again, in a different shape.

I was hesitant to try this mold after reading some reviews, but this is nice. Yes, it's small (cake will be about 7-1/2" in diameter) but dimensions are listed in the details so that should be no surprise. I did spray with cooking spray, filled the mold 3/4 full which is about right (I had to cut a little of the cake off of the bottom once baked but that leveled it), and baked a little lower (325) than you would a metal pan as the instructions on my cake mix suggested. I wasn't sure how long to cook so started at 30 minutes and tested with a toothpick every 5 minutes thereafter. Once cooled, the cake came out easily. It's pretty enough to serve without icing although I do plan to ice the cake.

I like the durability of this cake mould. I saw the cake on Tik Tok and was surprised when I was able to fine the mould. I am anxious to try it out. The mould was affordable especially for something you wanted to try.
