INCREDIBLY hard to open!!! They work great, super sharp, cut well... but then you have to WRENCH the two arms apart to get them to open again easily. Slows down my progress to have to do this every single time. Returning.

same type used to be sold in lowes and home depot.Yup they're pipe cutters, they cut pipe. cheap and easy to replace as intended.

I ordered one of these PVC pipe cutters to cut PEX B tubing and possibly so PVC. I ended up only needing it for the PEX but the cutter worked as it should without issues. All of my cuts came out clean and straight. You should always debur the inside and outside of whatever you cut. I had very little clean up when de-burring. The cutter is still working and hope it lasts me a lifetime. The item shipped and arrived fast. I gave it 5 stars.

iWork PVC Cutter 1-5/8" --I received these and immediately did a test cut. Not straight and I figured it was me. I tried about 15 more cuts and these are extremely tight to close even without pipe in them. The blade is visibly wonky and not sharp in any sense of the word. Use these for a day and your forearms will look like Popeyes.After I did my test cuts I wanted to see if the wonky cuts would cause problems and they do. When I put the cut piece of 3/4" pipe into a coupler, one side of the pipe was pushing a large amount of scraped up joint and I ended up with a 1/4" plastic and glue buger in the pipe right at the middle stop. That's not good. I tried this 3 times. Once on an elbow, once on a T-fitting and once on a fitting for a hose. Every single one of them was messed up. I have NEVER had this happen in the past. Just to make sure, I went and borrowed a pair from my neighbor and did the exact same test on the exact same piece of PVC and the same joints to see what happened. All of them were clean.Really not sure what's wrong with the blade, but it is going to cause issues that may not raise their ugly head until months later.iWorks -- you need to do better.

Seriously awesome cutters. I work HVAC and lost my old ones. So I ordered these. Of course I ended up finding my old cutters but decided to give these a try anyway. Figured... who cares... $10. They are amazing. 3/4 I inch pvc cuts through In 2 clicks. Highly recommend!!Just an update. The cutters sent to me are not the sane puctures.pictures.. the ones sent to me were Husky brand
