We live on a one acre lot with lawn irrigation pipe covering the entire front and back yards. And the underground PVC pipe and sprinklers are forever getting broken or cracked. This ratcheting pipe cutter is a real godsend for cutting and replacing pipes that are in the ground and impossible to get at with a typical saw. The cutter works exactly as advertised and I've had no issues cutting PVC up to 2" in diameter. The handle is quite robust and even a little on the hefty side. A solid and handy tool at a reasonable price.
