This is a Nice Set but it's not an easy install. I am in the middle of replacing an older Pyle Mirror set so figured this upgrade would be relatively easy for me.Since the older set only had one video (rear camera) there was no need to provide a trigger. The trigger really is the same reverse light hook up you need to power the rear camera so the solution is to simply run an additional wire. I looked for alternatives but eventually ran the wire.An additional stumbling block for me was grabbing the 1st cable that connected to the mirror/monitor. That turned out to be the connection for the front camera. It would have been nice it the parts were labeled but as others have pointed out, documentation is sparse.

Wiring instructions were confusing. Bough an Auto Vox and it was far supperior in quality of picture, wiring instructions and customer service.

This product has the WORST install manual I have ever seen. Everything you get is just what is shown on the product page on Amazon. Zero explanation of how functions are supposed to work, Zero detail on hook up of the many different wires, and to top it off, the manual that comes with it (one 4X5 page) doesn't match the functions for the unit I bought. The very first line of operations instructions details "connecting the left and right cameras" What? There is no left and right camera! There is a menu button to scroll through the menu, but no detail what so ever to explain how to change the menu items! And then #3, "Press the menu button to display the menu, then press "regulation" to adjust size". WHAT? No detail what so ever about adjusting the other 9 menu items. This cam may function if you knew how, but forget finding the detail anywhere. Not on the manufacture web site, not on UTube, and not on Google. What a waste of my time. Don't waste yours, look elsewhere for a reasonable system. This will be going back to Amazon.
