Would not say on the tile by itself, much less if I tried to put shower head in it. Very disappointing.

It worked fine for five days and then it just plopped to the ground. I used just the suction not the glue because we rent but I’ve had ones where the suction is more than enough to hold it to the wall. I cleaned it and put it up again and three days later it fell again. So the thing is it has a lever that you pull down to lock it, it’s plastic when it should be metal cause metal works better. And if you position the lever to be bent down when locking (up when it’s not locked) if you grab or move the twist position nut it will losen the lock easily. It doesn’t fall when you grab the shower head but it does make it fall later on. I would recommend they make it to where it locks and the positioning is separate and make it out of metal. I don’t recommend unless you want to be picking it up.

Love this shower accessory. I sit while showering and having the shower head within hands reach is awesome. I like this item over another that I had for years because I can easily adjust where the showerhead points. The suction and lever work quite well and make installation a breeze. It will pop off the wall at some point but is easy to reattach to the wall. I have a faux marble enclosure that has smooth walls. I'm not sure how well this would work if the shower walls are textured.
