The screen holder was also precision designed to fit specific Tesla Vehicles and does not offer a universal mount to any vehicle. Make sure when buying this detector that you have the correct radar detector and compatible vehicle.

Won't damage or mark up your Tesla's screen. The R8 can easily slide on or off when you need to put it away when you park to avoid theft. Won't fit in your glovebox easily, but that shouldn't be a deterrent. Perfect for those not wanting to hardwire their R8 or perhaps had ceramic tints installed on their windshield.

I had my hopes high when i ordered this for $30. But it was shattered when i went to install it. It was cheaply made. Very fragile!!!! When i attempted to slide the radar into it, the thingy just snapped. Obvioualy it was 3d printed making it hollow. Very cheap and fragile! I will be returning it!

I absolutely love this item! I didn’t want to mount my radar on the windshield, so I considered a mirror mount with a BlendMount—but those are quite expensive. Luckily, I found this product through another customer who had the same setup and purchased it here. I also contacted the seller through Facebook, and I was impressed by how respectful and responsive they were. They helped me receive my item as quickly as possible, which I really appreciated. The communication was excellent, and I highly recommend this product to anyone with a police radar and a Tesla. It doesn’t slide around, fits perfectly, and is exactly what I was hoping for!

This radar detector holder is exactly what I needed. The seller even tweaked the design when I suggested some improvements and then sent me the upgraded holder to me. Sure it's a little expensive but you can't beat this kind of service! Really good seller, as he cares about the product and his customers! I would definitely buy from him again.

I spent days stressing over what mounting solution to use for my Uniden R8 and my new Tesla. My previous car I used a blend mount for the sleek appearance. Unfortunately/fortunately, at the time of writing this, they don’t make a blend mount for my car. Fast forward a bit and….I stumbled across this sellers Etsy page and later stumbled across this item on Amazon (same price). I was extremely reluctant due to the price and lack of reviews. I reached out to the seller via Amazon to ask about its durability, notably in sunlight and was reassured there would be no issues.Long story short, I rolled the dice (in my mind), bought an EXCELLENT quality product and saved nearly $70 had a blendmount actually been available.I could have ordered a better cabling solution (longer cable) but that’s on me. Kudos to this guy/small company for a great product.Everything fits together perfectly, no sliding around or wobbling like another reviewer posted on a different unit. Overall, very satisfied, 5*
