When we unplugged our Valentine One radar detector 8 years ago, it wouldn't turn on. Shortly after that the vehicle shorted out. Can't believe that radar detector sat there in the harsh Southern sun, right there on the exposed dash for EIGHT YEARS!!! I bought this plug, plugged her in, and she powered right up!!! The $20 radar detector is alive again! And yes, I would buy 10000 of them for $20 now.. They're bringing $300 used. Now if we can just get that vehicle running again...This cord works. Thats all i know to say. I priced radar detectors recently, and was floored at the current prices. So glad this got mine working again because I absolutely LOVE my Valentine.

No problems working with my uniden R3. I did not want to tap into The mirror for power. Able to snake it around and hide the wire in between trims. Well, worth the price

I used this to mount my radar detector and routed the cord throughout the car tucked under panels. The only thing I wish it had was a mute button like the original one does. But for the price I can deal with that.

Nothing wrong with cord that came with my Uniden radar detector except because it’s a wrapped cord it doesn’t fit under the trim to hide. I needed a flat cord and was able to hide this under the trim. Works great no issues so far.
