Long enough to route from lighter, around the outside of windshield, to the mirror for the radar detector with extra length.

I used this to route under the dash and up side post to mount detector on windshield - works great and easily fits in the narrow crevices along the path.

Bought to fit my valentine one. Started up right away with no errors. Cable was coiled but long enough to go from the 12v to the windshield, although does feel a bit stretchy to pull the radar downward if mounted high.

This works and was a good deal. But the RJ11 head is only secured by the two power wires. So I used silicone sealant in the head to secure the head to the cord and protect the wires. Should be reliable now.

I have my Escort semi-wired into my F150. The plug is tied to the visor mount and the Escort is on the suction cup mount at the upper left corner of the windshield (on the tinting strip, so it is hidden from easy view). I run the cord through the rubber of the side panel so it is hidden, under the door sill, under the floor mat, and into the console, where I plug it into the accessory jack. So, when mounted, it turns on automatically and is hidden from view, but no wiring into fuse box or mirror tap required. For that length of cord run, this cord is dead on, within inches, in fact. I can easily move it from vehicle to vehicle without unwiring anything. One install note: I now unplug the power jack when I turn the truck off. I do this because when the suction randomly lets loose and the detector falls, it pull on the plug, which keeps it suspended in the air. After this happening for years, my old cord died because the plug pulled away from the wiring (which is why I had to buy this).Fir less than $8, this is an excellent solution to keep your detector wired in and hidden, with a semi-professional look, even.

Worked as expected, but lasted about to months. The connections seem poorly made.

I recently purchased this power cord to use with my Escort 360 radar detector. I chose this cord because it has way more length on the cable compared to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) cord, but doesn't cost $40. The cord works with my detector and doesn't interfere with the radar detector's functionality. The only downside is that the mute button on the OEM cord is missing from this cord.

In all honesty ive tried all cords including the oem Uniden one for my R1 and they are all garbage. So that being said just bite the bullet, buy this cheap cord and it should last around 4 months if you dont move it around too much. So far its working good.
