Works well with typical light weight beach umbrella. I don't know if it could hold a heavier patio table umbrella.I put it on my chair to help stabilize the umbrella

I bought one for my neighbor to hold his umbrella to his fishing chair. It was just a matter of finding the right spot on the chair post and fiddling with the position adjustments to get it set up perfectly. Works great! And the price is great!

Very flimsy and too much to put together

I used this product once. The construction is cheap and the design is inadequate. The first time I loosened it, it fell apart and could not be reassembled. The threading was completely stripped and would not catch. A waste of time and money. They also have a short return window and so I was not able to return it.
