These reeds are pretty inexpensive when purchased in bulk and have a decent sound for a 2.5 reed. It would be good for beginners or intermediate students to use these for practice until they gain experience and move up to harder reeds. The reeds come in individual plastic cases which are okay for holding the reeds, but a better case would be nicer.

Quality of the bamboo is good. The reed made from bamboo is good for an advanced beginner. Durable.Having several in a case makes that handy when reeded. My church has been collecting instruments of all kinds for a children's school in Haiti and these will be useful in helping them to replace reeds for the donated clarinets.
