Does not cover vents and can connect to bottom port on Legion Go. Looks great. Only wish the usb-c charging port could be used for more than just charging. Also wish the usb-c host cable was a port instead of a permanently attached cable. When that cable gets damaged the entire dock is made into garbage. Seen this happen on another dock and since this is meant to be portable its more likely to happen. I consider this a huge flaw.

This dock works perfectly with my steam deck, switch or phone. It is easy to set up and connect my devices. The movable plate makes it nice to watch while it is charging. It is small enough to travel. It offers different ports for charging. It is easy to set up. Great for the price.

I ordered this Razer Handheld Dock Chroma because I've been playing video games for many years. Over the years I have seen and heard of Razer products but I have never actually owned one.To be fair, when I got the chance to try this handheld dock, I wasn't 100% sure what it was. As I understood it, I could place handheld games, phones, or tablets on it so that I could play my game on those devices while casting it onto my big screen tv. I also understood that accessories could be added to this docking station and that it came with some cool RGB lighting.I was a bit disappointed but I should have expected that my old Fire tablet from years ago wasn't compatible with the USB-C connector that is attached to the power cord on this Razer Handheld Dock Chroma. My old tablet requires a micro-USB connection. I have added a male micro-USB to female USB-C adapter to my Amazon cart. Once I receive that it should allow me to use this new docking station with my old tablet.Meanwhile, I have been trying to use this Razer dock with my Samsung Z Flip 6 phone. It's a bit inconvenient because the power cord on this Razer Handheld Dock Chroma is so very short and is fixed in place. Unless I remove the case from my phone the power cord isn't long enough for me to be able to use the dock with my phone facing towards me. The USB-C connected is angled awkwardly so the only way it fits my phone with the case on is if my phone sits backwards on top of the docking station while it's closed. This is not ideal. While I am proud to finally own a Razer product, and I think that it's very cool, I will remove one star from my rating because of the short power cord issue.I assume the short attached cord with angled USB-C connector on this Razer Handheld Dock Chroma was designed to work with a few specific devices, but, if it had a longer cord, this docking station would be able to accommodate many more devices, hopefully with their protective cases still on. With a longer cord it would be much more versatile.Four stars.

I normally don't write reviews but this thing is by far the best dock I've come across for the Rog Ally X. It fits my Skull and company case, the power cable isn't stretched to the max like others I've tried. It's actually stable too.

It’s a dock. I use it with my ROG Ally, I originally used the official ROG dock. It was good but didn’t have many USB ports nor an Ethernet port. This one both has more USB ports and Ethernet port (and RBG). $20 difference between the ROG and Razer and i’d pick this one. If you’ve used Razer products before, you know the software is bad but it doesn’t need Synapse to work. Plug in and ready to go.

I generally like Razer products, but the Handheld Dock Chroma is a huge miss from them. The dock is lacking in ports compared to other available docks (especially at this price point), but the biggest problem with it is that the stand is too tall and will cover the vents on the back of pretty much any handheld device that sits against it. You can angle this part of the stand backwards as a workaround, but it looks awkward this way and covers up the ports in the back. On the positive side, the dock is well-made and the lighting is bright and colorful, but I cannot recommend this product for any price. Hopefully they'll fix the glaring vents issue with a v2.

The Ethernet port will run at full 1Gigabit speed. I verified that with a quick network test and was easily exceeding 900Mbps without any special tweaks. Out of curiosity I tried plugging the USB-C cable into the USB-C VirtualLink output on a 1st gen RTX GPU, and it was able to give a 1440p picture over the HDMI. That is an interesting surprise, some devices won't output video in that configuration, only become a USB hub. Satisfied for that scenario.

Item is smaller than it looks, I wanted to use it to hold an iPad, but it's too small for that so I sent it back. It's definitely designed more for Steam Deck type of devices, maybe a phone or iPad mini, but not good for much else.
