Sharpening pencils can be the bane of a teacher‘s existence, but this has made it fun. It works consistently on regular pencils and colored pencils and the charge lasts for a long time. I would get a darker color next time as the graphite gets all over the sharpener, but that doesn’t affect its usage. I was worried “helpful” students would push too hard and break it but so far this hasn’t happened.

My favorite thing in my classroom! My 6th graders love this sharpener and so do I! No more jamming pencils into the sharpener. It works perfect every time! I have only had to charge it once over 3 months.

*Update*Another update the company is not responding , super dissatisfied. I would not recommend purchasing this item , solely based on the company and lack of communication.*Update*I’ve reached out to the company now 3 different times in regard to the warranty, they have not emailed back at all or attempted to contact in any form. Highly disappointed in the product and customer service .So disappointed! I’m a teacher and purchased this for my classroom .This sharpener worked for the first 4 weeks of school, I was the only one using it no students used it . Charged it and now it won’t turn or sharpen anything …. I can’t return it since I ordered it during the summer . This was way too expensive for it to have broken as fast as it did .

I have started using pencils a lot this year for marking scriptures and making other highlights in books, notes, etc. Until now, I don't think I've sharpened a pencil in years! I also have bad gout and arthritis that sometimes make it hard to even pick up a pencil, let alone sharpen one. So I researched a LOT of sharpeners, and thankfully towards the end I found this one and decided to give it a try. I love it! Just put the pencil in and it draws it into the sharpener, then pushes it out when it's sharp (there are three levels of sharpness you can choose). The design itself isn't my favorite but I don't mind, especially with how great it works. The whole family loves it. My kids have done homework in pen for years; which I don't mind, it just makes their homework pretty messy sometimes. And we bought a huge box of pencils no one has used. But now they like using pencil so they can sharpen them again. Gives them a little something extra to look forward to with homework, but I'd love it either way. Being able to charge it and go is handy as well. I don't "go" with it much, but not having it attached to a cord is nice when I want to move it around on the desk. My son bought an electric pencil sharpener earlier this year, but is getting another one so he can have one of these for his own =)
