I bought this, then returned it, then re-purchased it! It’s not as big as some other options, however, for what/how I am using it, it works perfectly! I’m able to jot down recipes that have worked for me that I have found online. The pages are waterproof and tear resistant. It’s the size of a journal. I did not section off this Recipe (Journal) it has made more sense for me to add recipes as I find/use them. Get a special waterproof pen. I love this and will be adding another one as my Volume 2, eventually!

I love this recipe book. My only complaint is that there aren't more pages in it. It comes with numerous tabs - I definitely didn't need most of them, and I purchased a Sharpie fine point pen to use as the pages are waterproof. I will probably purchase a 2nd book. Excellent item.

I have a lot of papers with recipes written or printed. They are scattered in my drawer and I have to pull them all out each time and look through them to find what I need. I decided to try this little recipe book and I love it. It is very detailed with an ingredient list, serving size, cook time, etc and of course your directions. You number your pages and have an index. I love how it has the measurements and conversions at the beginning. It is definitely handy. It looks nice and feels fancy. It would be a great gift as well. I have not used the tabs that it comes with yet but definitely will. They are such cute colors.

This book is pretty drab looking/weirdly designed, like a lot of things made overseas because they don’t get American aesthetics. It doesn’t really make me want to put recipes in it, to be honest. I’m always kind of torn between just bookmarking recipes online (and being afraid they’ll be moved) and copying/writing down everything so I have a copy of it. I think maybe the time for actually writing stuff down has passed.But even if it hadn’t, this notebook suffers from the same issue that all bound notebooks do: how do you organize recipes if you can’t move the pages around?I know that all of these things were in the description or fairly obvious when I ordered it. Guess I was just feeling more optimistic about it at the time. I’ll put a few recipes in here (easy ones b/c let’s face it: who has time to longhand-write things down anymore?), but I did notice that the tabs can get oily, which is another thing that makes this book seem less interesting in person than in theory.

It's a cute book but due to the pages being 'water proof' do NOT use a gel/ink pen as it will smear and get on other sides of the page. As you can see, I got a droplet of water on this page and it absorbed into the page and onto the opposite page as well. Kinda sad since I literally just got this book but it is what it is.

Great recipe book, however the pages catch on the pen/pencil when you are writing, meaning it’s not a smooth surface to write on. But, I absolutely love the layout and the simplicity of the book! I just wish the paper wasn’t glossy.

I've been trying to learn how to cook and bake better over the last several months; using my mother's, grandmother's, aunt's and other great recipes, as well as jotting down new ideas as I think of them. This Recipe Book is great for writing down my favorite recipes (old and new), and comes with many great features!The book is nicely designed, and has pages that are durable and easy to write on; the pages are waterproof and tear-resistant, which makes this book great to have around food and liquid items. I really like that there was a place for my name, as well as a conversion chart for measurements and other things; that's very handy to have when I'm working on something, and need a quick reference.Also, in the front there is an index to write down your recipes, and the page number. Then each recipe page has a place to write down important things such as; servings, bake/cook time, prep time, oven settings, and more. I found the pages easy to write on, and easy to organize my recipes. The tabs included come with 4 pages of colors, all in different hues; so I could organize my recipes by styles, and write on the tabs.I think this is an excellent recip book, and I'm very happy with the amount of space that there is to write down important information. I love how the book is useful, yet simple, and is a great tool to have in my kitchen. For the listing price (currently around $9.99), I think this is a great value for money. I would consider ordering another book, as a gift for a loved one. Very nice quality!
