My mom hurt her arm years ago and has trouble reaching down to pull on the recliner lever. This nifty extension arm gives her enough length now that she can reach it without too many issues. It's made of tough metal and was incredibly easy to install: simply loosen a couple of screws on the plate, slip it on, and tighten it up again. Very much worth it.

It does what it says it does and I think it was a great purchase. Could have been easier to install- I put petroleum jelly on the screw heads to make it easier to attach. I found no instructions for how to attach to existing handle so it took longer than it otherwise may have and I think the manufacturer not including even just simple instructions with pics/diagram was a careless fumble. I thought having no fabric or grip material on the handle would make it hard to use but it is easy enough to raise and lower without that. It is shiny black so does not "match" my beige fabric LazyBoy but I don't care about that.

It has always been difficult for me to get my recliner to actually recline, the lever is difficult for me to reach and moving it was impossible and this handle has helped so much. It has given me the extra length and leverage that I needed to recline my chair. Installation was very easy and quick and I haven't had anybissues with it working loose. Glad I found it!
