Its not as nice as a fancy rear camera but its oh so simple to use and pretty darn precise once you get used to it.

I have to hook up my toad by myself and I'm always having to adjust the position of my car several times before it's in a good position to hook up to my motor home. I bought two sets of these, have used them twice and have not had to move my car once. I put two on the hitch itself; one behind the other so that when I approch my coach I adjust left or right so I can see what appears to be only 1 ball. That resolves my left and right. I put one each on the connecting points on the front of my car. That helps me verify that I'm centered, but also helps me judge distance from the back of my coach. Very, very handy for me, and a timesaver, too.

The Hitch Alignment System works pretty good most of the time when aligning my truck with the trailer hitch. However, when it is windy, it does not work. As you can imagine, the strong winds will have it bouncing back & forth thus defeating the purpose for which it was purchased.

Bought this for a quick fix for my frustration of having to jump in and out of the truck multiple times when hooking up my gooseneck horse trailer. What an easy solution. super strong magnet, sticks to the interior wall of my bed when not in use. Using it at least once a week and still in good shape. Can definitely recommend.

Work OK, but pretty flimsy: one magnet came out right away: expandable metal sections get bent very easily: I just use them to get a general alignment: I don’t think any hitch would actually work exactly the way they advertise

I love these!! Price was way better here than same ones at Walmart. Use them all the time for backing up and hitching up my Rpod camper. They extend to any height, so easy to see out the back window of my SUV. Hold on tight with magnet to hitch on car and camper. Line me up perfect every single time. Best camper purchase I have made!!!

You will laugh when you read this!I'm a 54 year old woman very skilled in clerical work. I'm completely 'city' raised with very little to no farm experience. With that being said, I can say that I never had pulled a trailer of any sort, nor hooked one up.I now live on a farm and carrier trailers are extremely necessary. I didn't want to damage my truck or my trailer because of a 'sight' error in the hook up process. So, I invented a flag on a PVC pipe to know where the tongue of the trailer was to prevent from hitting the trailer and damaging my truck. It sure was 'cheesy' looking, but it partially worked!My 35 year old son came over to visit and laughed his buttocks off when he saw my invention. He said, "Mom, they make a perfect 'Hitch Alignment' tool that will better your hookup process and prevent damage to your truck." I was shocked as I thought I was a genius of this invention!So, my son and I visited Amazon.com inventory of this device. I purchased two (one for each vehicle as I like to have tools at hand without running all over the place to get what I need).This Hitch Alignment tool is absolutely wonderful as it protects your vehicle and protects your trailer while in the hookup process. You only get out of your vehicle ONE TIME...to connect/lock down the trailer to your vehicle!This tool is absolutely perfect when you only have yourself to hookup a trailer. It is my best friend!This is a MUST tool for anyone that is not perfect in hooking up a trailer on their own and does not want to damage their vehicle or trailer.Boy, I was so proud of myself for my 'cheesy' invention. Excellent and easy to use. If you have difficulty getting the ball under the hitch use these. Set one just behind the ball and mount the other on the curved top of the hitch so it is vertical. Can't miss. They seem durable to me and if a ball comes off glue it back on or use a tennis ball. It prevents the back and forth and in and out of the cab hassle, as well as picking up the heavy tongue to move it to the hitch when you are fed up. Also eliminates those hard to decifer hand signals from helpers; you can totally do it yourself. "No one yells"
