Echoing what another reviewer said, I considered a much more expensive version of this and ended up buying this one; so glad that I did. I was concerned that it would be flimsy but it is very solidly built and the instructions are easy to follow. It took about an hour to assemble and I took my time—all of the parts fit together seamlessly. It’s also nice that it includes Freedom Top panel hangers and a spare tire remover winch, neither of which I’m sure I’ll use but nice nonetheless. Finally, it comes with everything necessary to work with an either a two or four door Wrangler.

This went together easily in 30-45 minutes. At first I thought I needed to spin the "star" of support arms at the top backwards, in order to put the shorter arms in the front, to accommodate the Bronco's speaker pods. but that isn't necessary, because the hard top's center of gravity is pretty far towards the back. I have a 2024 Everglades Bronco, so it's a Sasquatch with a winch, which makes it slightly trickier to park with the hood of the car underneath the lifted roof, but it does fit. I went with this lift because it wasn't $700+, and the shape/size/contents of my garage make a ceiling-mounted hoist less desirable. This lift feels sturdy and balanced. The lower legs are pretty long, which helps. and I can "parallel park" it against the wall to get it out of the way when it's not in use - if I loosen the support arm star at the top and rotate it 90 degrees so the longer arms are parallel with the legs. Which is simple to do: just loosen a single hex bolt. Then when I need to lift the roof, I just rotate the arms back, and tighten the bolt. I did not require adding the 5th arm. I assume that is for a 4-door jeep where the middle row and the rear shell are one big piece. I'm pleased with this one.

I have a hardshell Jeep and my wife and I couldn’t lift the hardshell off to enjoy having a topless Jeep. This product resolved that. Easy to assemble even easier to use. Took only five minutes to remove my Jeep hard shell and I was able to store it on this machine. Put the top back on the Jeep and it only took five minutes. The cost is extremely reasonable compared to other machines do the same thing easy to store in my garage. I highly highly highly recommend this product.

I bought this for 4-door JL because I am a dunce and don't bother to read the full description sometimes. In my defense, it comes with an extension piece and instructions about how to use it with a 4-door vehicle. Needless to say, the test run was a disaster between struggling with the extension piece and the generally awkward geometry of hoisting an unwieldy 140-pound piece of plastic in the air.That being said, I do think this can be modified to work with a 4-door by using the included winch and running the nylon rope over the top of the roof to a ratchet strap stretched under the roof through the (open) back doors and above the rollbar. Removing or covering the hook is necessary to avoid potentially breaking the rear window glass if it comes loose. Hoisting the front this way takes away the need for the front extension bar that causes all of the problems.Otherwise, the thing is very robust and well-made, assembly was easy, and the instructions are straightforward.

2 door wrangler worked perfectly! Was easy to put together. Only took maybe 45 min and comes with extra stuff to use for I believe the spare tire and had a place for the freedom panels to place. Would definitely recommend.

Great product for the price. I was thinking I should go with the higher price one and glad that I didn't. It is solid with easy to put together by myself. It has the longer legs underneath to help steady the topper. The tire lift was a bonus for me. If anything I can attach it to the wench to the wall and use that to lift my topper.

I was hesitant as this had no reviews when I bought it, but didn’t want to spend 1k. Pleasantly surprised at the quality and design. Build was easy 20-30 min and good instructions. The casters are really nice. Had to do a little filing to make one piece fit but we’ll let that slide.Mine is 2 door JL. I’m not using the removable extension arm as it doesn’t seem necessary, but for the extra length of the 4 door you might need it which would add an little extra hassle.
