The double sided tape is genuine 3M tape. It is very strong in attaching the sensor to the wall.

Of the two I used, they are just fine. The adhesive is strong and held on pretty well so far. It is going to be interesting to see how they do in the summer heat. I will update later if I experience any problems.I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it 😎Helpful? I hope so✔️ Thanks!
