This filter is advertised to work for a month but fails early can't because of design limitations. The stainless steel fountain contains water for up to two days but the filter stops working within hours of initial use. It is gravity fed and just a small amount of debris or dog saliva will clog it up. The only way to clear it is to flush large amounts of water through it. While the claim that it has multiple layers of filtration may be true, factually speaking it is worthless if water can't pass though it. I have been testing it for months and every filter I employ ends up clogged in short order.

I can't ask the dogs if their water tastes different using this filter vs. not but I have noticed a lot less residue in their water tank and the cats (who are picky) are drinking more water than usual.They are very affordable as well, I change the filter every month based on usage.

These ate okay o dint know if they are doing anything bit my dog seems to like her water!!!

I really like the 3 gallon water fountain I bought for my dogs. The filters are perfect for it and really do a nice job of keeping the water clear and clean. But I’ve already had to replace the pump. I could not find a pump like the one that had been in it.

It’s ok for the money, I just hate how small the filter is and the water gets slobbery and doesn’t filter too well.
