I never write or leave reviews but I loved the fit of this and the color is so vibrant! Simple and easy life jacket. Excited to wear it this summer kayaking :)

I ordered the Adult size in Marine Blue color life jacket, or personal floatation device (PFD). This is 100% as expected for a life jacket in the approximate $20-30 price range. It's like what you'd get as a life jacket when you rent watercraft. It's full torso sized; so not like the half sized ones that give paddlers a bit more range of motion. It's also not like the inflatable waist PFDs. It's a traditional life jacket. According to the labeling in the jacket, it's US Coast Guard approved, and is rated for adults >90 lbs (>41 kg), and for chest sizes of 30-52 in ( 76-132 cm). It provides "Level 70" buoyancy. There's a pamphlet that describes the level of buoyancy for particular purposes: they describe level 50 as more appropriate for near shore (calm) conditions with relatively less time to rescue. At the other end of the spectrum is level 150 that they describe as for (waves) offshore conditions providing relatively more time to rescue. Levels 70 and 100 are in between the extremes. In terms of fitment, there are 3 plastic clips on straps that cross at three points across your chest. The length of the straps are adjustable. I had no problem fitting the vest on my 38 in chest. The foam on either side of the vest just meets across my chest. In terms of height, I'm 5ft 9in, and the vest just ends at my belly button. It's no frills. No pockets. No reflectors. No whistle. But all of this is expected at this price point. The Marine Blue color is a bit dark. In retrospect, I probably should have ordered the lighter color for better visibility.

Got this so we'd have enough jackets on the boat. It's legal and more comfy that the orange bobbers. Nice that it can be tighened and adjusted. Good lightweight CG approved vest.

This life vest does exactly what it is supposed to do. I like the bright color so that it stands out against the dark water. 3 of us in the household are adult M size and it fits all of us true to size. It is comfortable and stays in place well when in the water without rising and pulling around your neck.

Ordered the super large and fits my 6’4” 260 pound frame with plenty to spare. Three adjustable straps with quick-connects. Looking forward to utilizing it soon.
