These are great if you have space in freezer( fits the deep freezer better). We bought them for our ice coolers during power outage in hurricane season and they stayed cold along time!When not needed, you can empty out liquid for easy storage.

I had to bring my mom a two tiered wedding cake I made for her from Memphis to Seattle in the middle of May (80+ degrees for part of the trip). That was 12 hours travel time while in two suitcases that were checked. 6 of those hours were spent in Denver during a layover. I used all of these freezer packs to keep those cakes frozen...hoping they would hold up and keep these multi-layered cakes frozen and intact. It wasn't until I was in my hotel room in Seattle that I could open my suitcases. Not only were my cakes still frozen, but the ice packs were still mostly frozen and still enough to keep the cakes from thawing. Fortunately the hotel fridge had a freezer, so I was able to put the cakes and the less frozen packs in there for the night and the fridge kept the rest of them frozen for our drive to destination the next day.I will say, those suitcases were heavy. I was happy to leave the ice packs in my mom's chest freezer for the trip back home. I'm grateful for how effective they were in the process of getting there.

These were bigger than I expected. You fill them with water and shake before freezing; there's some sort of gel inside. I put two in a soft-sided cooler to take to an all-day convention and when I got home, they were still pretty cold. Like I said, they're bigger than I imagined so take the measurements into account before deciding which size to buy. They seem really durable and I definitely recommend them.

I will admit, these packs were larger than I expected but they do work great! We travel a lot for my son's sport's team and often in warm weather. Throw one of these in your Yeti and you will not have to worry about anything spoiling for hours! We often leave home and travel through the day reaching our hotel late at night. The last thing we want to do is unpack and empty the cooler into the hotel refrigerator. These packs keep everything cold so we don't have to worry about it, and can get a good night's sleep before unpacking our cooler items.
