I use this to split my signal out to two screens. I have two tv's close to each other but in different rooms. I did not want to use an additional satellite box as I only watch in one room at a time. This allowed me to run a cable to each tv from the sat box and watch the same thing on either tv. no complicated things, just turn on and it works.

I wanted this adapter so that I could use two monitors; however, I wanted it to not be the same on each screen. I could not get it to be as two separate viewing.

Does not work. I tried it several different ways and it cannot handle 2 HDMI cords. Tried it with my projector. I have a fire stick and the Nvidia.I unplug one and it works. I plug in 2 devices and it goes to no signal. It won't connect both. It cancels out both it both are plugged. I'm sad.
