Just starting my boxing journey so I scoured the internet for “How heavy of a bag should I train on” I’m around 200 lbs and so I went with the 150 lb bag.Wanted something that’s not going to swing a lot.But I’ve never hit a bag before so it’s my own mistake, but the bag is super dense.I went full force punches (with 16oz gloves) the first workout and was sore for days and my knuckles were bruised so yeah, start out slow and easy and learn the right way to train and punch obviously. As far as the bag itself, it’s honestly perfect. The bag itself is super high quality, all the stitching, leather, hooks and chains are really well made.I used a couple 2x4s to screw directly into two studs in the ceiling, then doubled up two more boards to drill the mount into (bought separately) so that the weight is distributed across two studs instead of one for extra stability.Definitely recommend.

Good bag, not a fan of how the lift straps are fastened. They have like metal rivets if you kick them it hurts. Definitely needs to be worked in, it’s a hard bag at first but after you work it for a bit it’s getting more pliable.

Boxed for years competitively. Happy with this bag. Heavy duty construction. Would buy again.People saying it’s “too hard”. Hit it for awhile- she’ll soften up ;)

My wife said she had to “pull a dead body into the house”I got home from work, a very happy dude. The people complaining about the hardness have:A) never boxed before.B) will never be any good at punching.C) need to sack-up (labia-up!) 🤣Buy it.

I love this bag. It is well built and was easy to install. My two complaints are it didn't come with a mounting bracket and it is NOT SOFT!! AT ALL!! Bag is as hard as a rock but still a very good bag.

Im very new to boxing and I started out with the Title Classic Double End Punching Bag 100 pounds. That bag was very hard and only got worse in some spots after a month of use. Now this bag by ringside felt so good to use its soft but not super soft and looks great like something a pro would use. The bag was ship super fast also it took only a few days from purchase to get it at my front door.
