At first the thirty-eight dollar price tag for a rivet nut assortment seemed high, but these are good quality rivets that I trust for jobs requiring medium strength, and it's a pretty massive set. 2 lbs 6 oz massive to be exact, including the plastic case.I spot checked a couple of compartments and found the quantities accurate and quality control to be good. Bolts thread in easily and hold firm.Aluminum can be an excellent material for exterior use since it doesn't rust, so these rivet nuts I find superior to brass or steel (although steel is stronger).I don't use rivet nuts often, and when I need them typically my SAE rivet nut set is my go-to, but that's because my drill bits lying around tend to be SAE (English) not metric. But by keeping a metric set of drill bits handy now I'll be able to utilize these rivet nuts, probably a lifetime supply. Also for a lot of applications where holes pre-exist, sometimes metric sizes fit best, thus I'm tickled to have this set to cover me for M3 all the way up to M12.Overall this set I rate five stars on the product but four stars on value (currently priced $38) for an overall 4.5 stars. I do have one small quibble which is that the enclosed description/instruction sheet is simply a piece of common printer paper. Flimsy, not shop-tough and not resistant to any kind of grease or liquid spill. Jeez, at least use card stock! Seriously, bare minimum quality for this sheet should be laminated card stock as the sheet needs to last. What I did was a 'poor man's' lamination of covering both sides with clear packing tape for water resistance, but even then it's flimsy and detracts from the quality of the set.The case quality is quite good though with true plastic hinges not just plastic flaps, and it was well protected being shipped in an OEM cardboard cover box. It's always annoying when hardware sets arrive broken from rough shipping but I think that's highly unlikely given how this set is packaged.

At first, I was a little put off with the price, but after looking at the product that includes 1100 fasteners I realized that this is a really good value purchase. The price is a little more than 3 cents per fastener, which is considerably cheaper than you will find at the big box stores and these are just as functional and of comparable quality as any others I have used. Like many others I have often found myself running to the store on an as required basis when needing a few items like these and burning $4 or more dollars in gas. These are a nice addition to my fasteners collection and available when I need them. They appear durable and there is an ample selection of sizes and quantities of each to meet almost any of my needs. All in all I consider these to be a good value purchase and would not hesitate to purchase them in the future.

With 1100 aluminum rivet nuts, this kit feels less like a fastener assortment and more like a bold statement against nails. Ever wondered what your house would be like if everything were riveted, threaded, and properly engineered? Wonder no more - this set's got your back. Shelves, furniture, appliances - shoot, even the toaster better watch its back. Nails? Nah, not around here. The kit covers just about every metric thread size you'd ever reasonably need (and probably a few you won’t), neatly organized in a sturdy, clearly labeled box that’s as friendly to your shelf space as it is to your sanity. The knurled flat head threads make these puppies easy to grip and hold tight when properly installed, but remember - this isn't hardened steel. Aluminum's lightweight and easy to handle, but softer threads mean you need to be a little gentler. Don't go using these for suspension parts or anything that’s gotta withstand Superman-level torque. One last heads-up: make sure your rivet nut tool is up to snuff and appropriately adjusted for aluminum inserts. Too much pressure and you'll spin these threads quicker than a carnival tilt-a-whirl.Summary:Perfect if you want to arm your parts bins to the teeth or give your hammer a retirement party. Just match the softness of aluminum to the right job, and you'll be riveting your way to DIY greatness.Pros:✅ Huge variety - 1100 rivet nuts across 7 metric sizes✅ Clearly labeled, neat storage box✅ Knurled, flat-head design prevents slippage✅ Lightweight aluminum - easy installation for suitable applicationsCons:❌ Aluminum threads are softer - can strip easily if mishandled❌ Not suitable for high-load or structural applications❌ Requires the right rivet nut tool (don’t just muscle these in)🏅 Verdict: 🔩Great value for the home tinkerer, hobbyist, or anyone ready to fully embrace a no-nail lifestyle. Just remember: aluminum means gentle hands.⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4 out of 5 stars)

The assortment is impressively large, providing a range of options that I find incredibly useful. The bolts thread in smoothly and hold securely, instilling confidence in their performance. Aluminum is an exceptional material for exterior applications due to its rust resistance, making these rivet nuts a superior choice compared to brass or steel, although steel offers greater strength. Additionally, this set covers sizes from M3 all the way up to M12. However, I do have one minor complaint: the enclosed instruction sheet is disappointing, ideally, it should be made to ensure longevity. At first glance, the price tag for this rivet nut assortment may seem steep, but upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that these are high-quality rivets you can rely on.
