Might work for soft wood, maybe even Aluminum. With any harder metal, forget about it.

I've been using this set for a few months now and it is great for cleaning up holes on 3D prints. The countersinks are very sharp, and I did use them a couple times on sheet metal as well. When using them on 3D prints you don't need to put them in a drill, you can use them by hand. If you don't have a tool to hold onto them, you can print one. There are handles available on Printables and other model sites. The case is really nice for storing them when not in use. I can very definitely recommend these countersinks.

When a product is simple and does it's expected job, and does it well, there's not really too much to review or say. This is one of those products.The Rocaris 5 Pack Countersink Drill Bit Set arrived in good condition and I could find no flaws. I mean other than an obvious crack or something like that a flaw in a drill bit, or in this case a countersink drill bit would be hard to spot and assess. Usually tools like these, when they fail, they fail with some panache. But, these didn't, they performed well in my tests. I simply found some wood and metal I had around the house and started drilling and countersinking. LOL. I tried all the bits so I could see how each one worked and the level of countersinking. You know, steep or shallow, that type of thing. Those of us tinkerers, not professionals, have an idea when it says it's X angle, but not exactly what it is. So, overall I think I'm going to be very pleased with this set based on my simple tests.So, from an amateur point of view, these are great!! Honestly, I don't need a countersink drill bit often, but now I know that when I do, I'll have a good set to choose from.I would absolutely order these again and would definitely recommend them to others.A+++++

I was finally able to use these for the project I purchased them for. I was working some cereal container boxes to create some 3D filament DIY Dry boxes. I was mounting PTFE tube connectors and I wanted to make sure that the area around the hole was cleaned and had a nice chamfer to guide the filament through.Having drilled the holes, I took the smallest bit and carved out the chamfer with my drill. It did give it a nice chamfer, but the process left a lot of plastic attached by a strand or so. I had assumed the countersink process would clean the edges a bit. Because it didn't i attempted to clean up the holes manually which seemed to work well.I'm giving this item four stars because it did the job, I intended for it even though I had to do some manual clean up (which I should have expected). It comes in a nice little case and will likely come in handy again in the future.

I only tested the smallest one and it worked great on a wood project I am doing. I feel like the set is solid and will handle doing countersinks without issue. The little case it comes in is not the best. It was scratched up and the top was loose. All said a good set of countersinks.

Cheap countersink, but I don't need expensive ones, just something to work with pine. Best thing is they come in a case, so I won't end up with them scattered in four different places.

Needed to drill some small holes in some boards to make a board game for my Granddaughter! Were not very sharp when I started and went completely dull after just a few holes! Was drilling small recessed holes into some 1x 6 light wood!!!! Completely dissatisfied with this purchase!
