I had ordered a set of fine diamond burr bits. Found that I could not use them in my drill press, drill motors, etc. since the shafts were very small diameters. I saw this chuck and thought that they would work in it. I had assumed I could mount the chuck on a small threaded rod and mount the rod in my drill press. I have not been able to use this chuck. I have not been able to figure out how it is designed to operate. I do not have a tool that it will mount on.In fairness to the mfgr. the chuck appears to be very well designed. There were no illustrations or instructions included. The advertisement was limited as to use of the chuck. I am disappointed and frustrated that I could not discern how to use it.It is a very nicely finished tool. It probably deserves a better review. As I try to work with it, I will update this review.

This is the perfect addition to a rotary tool kit. It replaces the need to change out the collet every time a bit is replaced due to the different bit diameters. It screws on easily and is easy to adjust. No more searching for the right size collets for small drilling and grinding work.

Taking my chances with the fitting on my rotary tool, I purchased it already, then started to ask seller about the fitting.... wrooong!... I should've asked prior purchasing it...I provide the 5 stars temporarily without knowing the fitting yet, seller has responded promptly so far... not quite the exact response for the fitting I need... being honest, I think I didn't do the right question though. I responded seller again providing more detail in what I mean with "mount fitting" which in this case, it refers to the internal diameter and thread in this universal chuck to mount on my rotary tool... Promise an update once I receive the chuck or I get a final response from seller.
