I’m so impressed with the power in this lighter weight vacuum. As you pull it back you can really feel the suction power. It picked up much more out of my carpet than my old vacuum cleaner did; The price was great. It was super easy to snap together. Super easy to mount in the wall for nice clean look. Long Battery life. With one charge i use it around 40 minutes and still i see battery one bar on it. Highly recommanded

We highly recommend this vacuum, great value for the price. I like how it's very easy to use and clean. It's got good battery life, we use it quite a lot before needing to charge it. It's nice that its not heavy and bulky. I also get to clean some hard to reach places like under the couch and the dining table. It was so much more convenient to use compared to my old vaccum that had to be plugged when in use. Another plus about this vacuum is that it's very quiet. Overall sturdy quality and powerful suction.

Good value! This vacuum does everything you want a vacuum to do! It light weight. The vacuum head swivels to reach those tough the get corners. The battery last about 24 mins which is perfect for apartment sized spaces.

This cordless vacuum is nice. It is lightweight so it doesn't get you all tired. It has good suction and the design is good for going under furniture. I also like to use it on the stairs. Removing the dust from the cup is easy. This vacuum makes clean-up a breeze.

Just gave the Roomie tec a try and it works pretty well on laminate flooring. So far, the battery life on it is last about 30 mins on a full charge if you set it to econ mode. I have 2 cats so my floors are always full of cat hair but after vacuuming, the floors feel pretty clean. It does have a neat feature where it can stand up on its own, unlike other vacuums like dyson where you have to put them flat down on the ground if you aren't using it.

The good:I love the design of the filters - all of them - and the ease of accessing and cleaning out the filters and beater bar in the power head, which I do in my shop with a shop vac, flat-head screwdriver and utility knife to cut off the hair. The suction power is perfect for small throw-rugs to clean them adequately while not sucking them up into the power head beater bar like my plug-in vac does.The not-so-good:Like other reviewers, I liked the vacuum's performance and design. But, when the battery failed it became useless. That took right about 3 years with the lasting ability of it fading during the last year. I don't know if it is really NOT true that it was OK to be left with the charging cord plugged in when not in use as in the directions, and trashed the battery from to much constant voltage. Lithium Ion batteries don't like that. Some smarter circuits, like my Acer Aspire 5 laptop auto-regulates charger on-off switching and does not charge unless needed. It also features a menu option to charge to a settable charge level (like 80-90%) and stops and maintains that state instead of 100% (lengthens battery life significantly. It is on year 6 with only very slight reduction in unplugged run time).I took the Roomie Dylon apart to see if the batteries were replaceable. Nope. Another reviewer has a picture of it taken apart. I'm ok with soldering battery connections (with practice), but the design makes almost impossible to de-solder and remove to replace the individual batteries even if you can find generic batteries of the same design, size and voltage - which I didn't bother looking for since the labor would be extensive.So, you're buying essentially a 2-3 year product. If it were a 5 year product at this price I would allow it to be disposable, but not 2-3.Roomie: make the battery on all models replaceable like the Elite model but otherwise the design of the Dylon. And make the batteries actually available. The Elite battery is showing "unavailable" on the parts website.

The suction power is okay and it's lightweight at the bottom but the power part is really heavy. The battery life is okay. When you stand it up it does fall down unless you have it leaning on something. The build quality is okay for a child to use.

It was great for the first week. Lightweight with 2 hour charging time. The battery lasted 15 minutes. The space is less than 20 x 20 sq ft. Then it didn't charged. I called customer service. They sent a new one, but didn't tell me how to send back the old one. It happened again with the second one. Called customer service daily for 1 month. Various times Monday through Saturday. Sometimes twice daily. It's almost like customer service didn't exist anymore. Ended up trashing both of them.

Really hard to please customer here.Im extremly critical when it comes to the things i buy, its really hard to convince me to to buy , and im hardly impressed.The vaccum works really well, charge last up to 30-40 minutes basic mode and maybe 25 minutes Boosted mode , really quiet sound , suction is really good but not the best , really lightweight , and the headlights are really usefull to see the dust. Pretty small vaccum , perfect for a full floor of a bif house or an appartement.I like this vaccum so much now i use it 5 times a week lol

UPDATE: Two months in and it doesn't work anymore. Barely sucks anything up, and when it does, it spits it right back out. Returning this and buying name brand... not gonna be cheap this time.ORIGINAL POST:This is my first cordless vacuum. I have a dyson, but it is a really heavy unit that is also obnoxiously loud. I was struggling to keep up with my bad back and sciatica, and so I opted for this cheap alternative. I didn't want to spend $500 on another dyson, especially since I'm not in love with the one I already have.So this vacuum is good for the price. Under $100 seems right. I wouldn't have paid any more for it. I have a 1200 sq ft home and I can only do one level at a time because the battery dies VERY quickly, even when it is not on MAX. It is a little annoying that I have to wait for the unit to recharge in order for me to continue cleaning.The suction power is very light on the regular mode, and decent on the MAX mode. It does pick up most things; mostly hair, dust, dry dirt, dry crumbs, etc. Anything that is a little moist or the tiniest bit sticky, the suction power isn't strong enough to pull it up.What I like about this vacuum is that it is super quiet. I will be able to use it anytime, even when my toddler is napping. Compared to my other vacuum which sounds like a jet plane taking off... this is much better.It's a pretty good vacuum for the price, to be honest. I'm keeping it to pick up small messes here and there, but will have to use my big dyson for really dirty jobs. I would recommend this for seniors because it is lightweight and easy to use, and for small homes/condos/apartments.
