I tried this as a temporary seal for a leaking pipe but I was not able to clip it together to stop the leak

I had a pin hole leak spontaneously appear in a copper pipe located in my ceiling. In my community, this is a common problem with copper pipes, perhaps the town's treated water acidity is high? Regardless, the plumber was backed up for nearly 2 weeks, and I was having to periodically dump the bucket located under the leak. I installed this device as a temporary measure until the plumber arrived, and it worked 100%. No leaks, no drips, no ooze, I was very impressed. I will keep it on hand going forward as an "emergency" option if this happens again.

This works great on temporary leaks but it says not to use it for more than 5 days so it can't stay on the leak for a long time. I love the design of it and it works great too

A friend had a really bad leak in a copper pipe in her finished basement. She took a few suggestions with no luck. My son recommended this to stop the leak, and sure enough it work like a champ!

We had a pin-hole leak on a hot water copper line, after the Texas freeze of 2021, where we had outdoor temps of 11-24 degrees Fahrenheit and no electricity for nearly a week. After nearly 10 days of not finding supplies to repair the leak, the Rothenberger began to struggle to contain the leak but it worked sufficiently as a temporary fix.
