Grinder comes with one metal grinding wheel and grinding guard. If you intend to use it with cut off wheels you should order the cut off wheel guard. It is available from Home Depot. About $25.

I have a corded brushed Ryobi angle grinder, but it's kind of a pain to use on my current window and siding project, so I decided to get a cordless brushless one. I can easily use this one while up on 12 foot scaffolding without worrying about a cord getting in the way, coming unplugged, etc. It's only slightly weaker than the corded version I have, and I don't need it to be any more powerful than it is with what I'm doing. I like how easy it is to swap cutting wheels, how lightweight it is, and the battery life is decent. I don't know if this would be good enough for contractors that would use it all day, every day, but it suits me just fine just using it on long weekends. I'd definitely recommend it for the DIYer.

We purchased to use on our pipe fence to remove rust. Most recently we used it to cut galvanized metal and it worked like a charm. Very powerful! I highly recommend this tool.

I own lots of Ryobi 1+ cordless tools and have been happy with most of them for their price/durability/power. I use angle grinders a lot and this time thought I'd upgrade to brushless. This tool is a complete disappointment. It has no torque. If you apply any pressure to the blade it will shut off and you have to wait 5 seconds for the tool to reset and start again.
