Let's be honest, these things aren't ever going to stop a determined thief with plenty of time. What they're supposed to do is to present such a challenge that they're not work a thief's time and effort which could lead to discovery and arrest.This doesn't even do that. The door closes and it rattles. It rattles because the lock on the door is so loosely attached that there's plenty of room to insert a screwdriver and pry the cheap, thin metal of the door open. Nope. Just worthless so don't waste your time.

This safe is absolutely beautiful. I grabbed it for my brother to store some of his expensive watches and other valuables. Let me say that this thing is NICE. The size is big enough to perfectly store all of his pieces, along with money and other forms of jewelry. It has solid weight that a premium safe should have, and it is incredibly easy to lock with the key. He feels secure because this thing is hard to get into with the proper equipment. Functions just as intended.

I really loved this little lockbox at first. I like that it is lightweight, big enough for everything I needed to put in it, and simple to open and close. It came with two keys, and has a handy little slot in the top so you dont have to open it fully to put cash or paper items or credit cards in.It was working out great for me, but then the lock started bending! I don't understand how, either. I'm not moving it around a bunch, or locking or unlocking roughly. The little metal flap inside, the one that prevents it from opening once you lock it, keeps bending slightly out of shape so when I go to relock, it won't slip into place. It worked great when I first got it, so it must be something I personally am doing. I've had to bend it back into shape a bunch of times now.I feel like I can't knock stars off for that, because it appears well made, sturdy, strong enough. I'm pretty certain it's a user error, but it's inconvenient to use. Other than that I found it to be perfect for what I needed. I needed a secure spot to keep meds locked away from kids and pets, and to keep my credit cards out of my wallet.It's cute, too, and a reasonable price for some security and peace of mind.

I'll start by explaining my rating. Although this is reminiscent of the safes you find in some hotels, it's nowhere like it in terms of quality. The metal is extremely thin, which makes for an easy wall mount because of the weight. It has the holes in the back if you want to wall mount it & comes with two keys. For the price, you basically get what you pay for.

Yes it keeps your valuables safe sure. But I wouldn't trust this locking mechanism if your really had a high dollar item that has a chance of getting stolen because the locking mechanism is very flimsy and rather "unsafe". This locks by having a thing piece of metal on the backside of the door that acts as a stop to prevent the door from coming open. The problem with this mechanism is that there is awful lot of slack between this metal tab and the door itself, in fact so much slack that you can comfortable fit a flat head screw driver and pry open the door if you really wanted to. I don't necessarily need this to protect my belonging from thieves but more so from my little children who put their sticky hands on everything and this is a perfect way to keep our valuable things safe and sound. Depending on your use, this is a decent purchase or this is a joke of a "safe" if your really safeguarding from potential thieves.
