I bought this heat gun because it's got head attachments to really focus the heat. That's the upside. The downside is there's no case/bag to keep the gun and attachments all together. That's just not practical.

I rated this one as a five star primarily as a bang-for-buck rating. The quality of it is acceptable and the price is right. This is a heat gun that I don't won't worry about getting lost or stolen.I doubt that the temperature gets up to the claimed 600C/1112F (Per booklet that comes with the heat gun. The online description says 1202F). I will measure and update later, but I am not sure I care at this price point.

This works well and is cheap. I literally looked up the cheapest heat gun I could find on Amazon and this was it. It actually is good quality and for the price can’t beat it. It’s good for waxing shoes, heat shrinking electrical ends/fittings, and for removing decals/stickers. At least that’s what I’ve used it for so far.

Muy buena para el uso en casa , ya me a sacado de algubos apuros, y eso que las puntas se pega. Puede ser cierto, pero es normal, ya que al vale tar el metal se expande y por ello se mete más de lo normal, para quitar una punta pegada calienta la pistola y quita con unas pinzas caundo siga caliente , pero normalmente no se pegan

This heat gun is excellent. Have used it on a lot of heat shrink tubing as well as heat shrink connector housings (with the glue that melts as they shrink) and it works perfectly. Love the stand -on-end functionality for ease of use in suitable situations. Had to cut a rope the other day that was just too big to melt the ends with a lighter, grabbed this heat gun cranked it up with the reduction nozzle and put the rope end on an old brick, melted while rotating and voila! a rope with no frayed ends! Hope it lasts a long time.

For the price, its fantastic! Great for stripping paint off anything! I used it to strip the paint and polyurethane off an old guitar and it not only made quick work of it, but I didnt even singe or char the wood. I also love how you can set it upside down to work with. The only slightly negative thing Ill say about it is its a tad bulky. But other than that, its wonderful!
