When spreading fertilizer, it get stuck, spreads unevenly. I set it at 5, and it would go from blasting to not dispensing anything.It took a month or more to be delivered

We have a small fenced in area on the side of our house that was torn up by our dog running and turning on the grass. Needed a spreader to begin planting new grass and fertilizer. This works well and fits right into the Ryobi 18v battery ecosystem. Great tool to have if you don't have a huge yard to seed/spread.

this was great at first but after 2 uses the seed grains would get stuck causing us to stop and clean it out. I think having to clean it out and adjust the knob there is now no variation between level 1, level 5 or anything in between. It does still make spreading seed easy still even though its not 100% perfect

Super easy to use and will empty the nearly 4L capacity fast. You set the dial for the gate size 0-5 based on the pellet size and the smallest settings (0-2) are nearly unusable they are so fine.Squeezing the trigger on the well placed for balance handle opens the gate to the size set on the dial and kicks off the broadcast wheel at full speed, I would say about 4x the speed I would think more ideal.The edge shield on the front can be used to limit broadcast from going to the left, but the shield is pretty loose and is unlikely to stay in the chosen position.It is useful to fully close and limit unintentionally spilling during transport.When in operation it sounds like the mechanism is made of non lubricated somewhat loose meshed plastic gears, not a terrible sound but it doesn’t provide confidence that this is useful for continuous or regular use. I do think it will hold up for most home use periodically spreading seed, fertilizer, insecticide, or driveway salt.

This mini handheld spreader makes it super easy to spread fertilizer across my 20,000 square feet. The battery lasts long enough to get the job done with plenty of power. After each use, just make sure to clean the impeller to avoid any clogging or issues with the fertilizer.

Battery life is long. Spread distance is about 15 ft if you point it left and right as you walk. Very adjustable. Overall good value.

Unlike the hand crank model, this one really cranks out the fertilizer. Much less tiring.
