The screws used to attach the rake to the stainless steel tube are not stainless steel.First time use. I just used the rake successfully for three days on the Alabama Gulf Coast and the cruises were very rustyIf you purchase this product, I suggest you purchase your own stainless steel screws and use them to install the rake to the stainless steel pipe.

This thing is solid, huge, and very heavy. It was just too big and heavy for me so I returned it.

Yikes! A good bit "overbuilt." Heavy-duty (and heavy) basket. Little boys and girls NO. Police evidence unit definite utility! Hand tools are at least Metal detectorist and gardener grade.Gloves are "Magnet Fishing" Safety level; the collapsible cup sieve will fit right in at your next crawdad boil,clambake, or making donuts & bagels.Very Happy. Very well built, too much so for small kids. Buy it - Keep it for yourself, keep the kids onplastic beach scoops & sand pails until they grow enough to handle this beast. Very Happy !

Used for sea glass and sand fleas. People seeing you sifting get curious and talk to you. Which is really nice. Most people don't talk to me. I'm guessing it's my face or breath. I you also have that problem I would buy 3.

Didn't come with hardware, and had to incur the cost to complete assembly. For those who got scammed you need 6mm x 1mm bolts with 12mm length of bolt. The cost went to 11 and some change because I used stainless bolts with thread lock. Hope this helps those who received an incomplete set.

It’s made for something else.But I metal detect, and this works very well to find what is buried in the sand at the beach, or you can just use it on its own and rinse with ocean water. Found money, and other cool stuff. You’d be quite surprised.
