I wasn't expecting my new rats to love this so much, but they actually prefer it over their fabric hammocks! It's super easy to put together, install, and clean.

There are no instructions for attaching it to the cage, so I don't know if the weird, halfway clipped on the bars design is normal, but it holds our two large male rats just fine.It also came packaged as a large, but the sticker on it said xl.Regardless, it's big enough and they love it.

This fit amazingly in my rat’s cage and it comfortably fits two chunky girls. It’s super easy to clean and scuff marks don’t show.

It's a great novelty hide, however my male rats outgrew it rather quickly. I suggest using it with smaller animals. It's easy to clean and put back together and stays hanging really well. Just a tad flimsy.

I bought one of these for my my two male rats (who have a two-story, wired cage) and liked it so much I bought one for my two female rats(who are currently housed in a large fish tank). It can hang or sit on the floor of a cage, which is nice, considering my two different cage types of my males/females. It is a good size for two rats. It is simple to put together, take apart, and hang on a wired cage-and side note: I am horrible at putting things together, so this pleased me how easy it was. I am happy with the purchase. I assume the rats will eventually start to chew and ruin this, because it is plastic, but I will definitely make another purchase of this house whenever that happens. The rats are large to medium in size, and they all seemto like it so far.

Absolutely love this thing. It comes in the cutest colors I've found (usually sputniks come in that blue/green color, not a fan), and my rats love it! I was a bit confused first hanging it but after I figured it out it's very sturdy and provides a great sleeping spot for my boys.As a sizing tip, I ordered a large for my two male rats. It is quite roomy for them, but if you have smaller rats or don't plan on having maybe two or three at a time, you can probably size down.

So easy to assemble and set up. It took the rats a few days to start using it as a regular sleeping place but I think they're about it now. I love having things I can hang instead of put on the floor because it helps me keep the cage cleaner. My only thing is if I did decide I want to put it on the floor instead of hanging there'd be nothing to attach it to since I have the plastic pan on the bottom and not bars... it doesn't meant I couldn't do it but the rats would probably move it around a lot I'm guessing.

My two ratty boys love these! I got one for each of them and my fat boy especially loves hanging out in them. I'm actually impressed with how sturdy they are and the fact that they can hold his weight, because he's an Agouti and he's seriously about the size of a kitten (no, he's not overfed/poorly fed, he's just a big boy). I'd definitely recommend these for any ratty cage. As far as the people giving these 1 star because of the color - you're not decorating your own house. Your rats don't care that their favorite place to lay is black instead of blue or grey. Get this, make your squeakers happy. Happy rats, happy life.
