This is an exact replacement. It was a bit difficult to install but,it is the design of the battery compartment, not the battery.

I purchased this battery for my Kyocera DuraXV Extreme E4830. Perhaps because my phone is an AT&T phone or for some other reason it only fits with great difficulty into the phone. I had to tear it up with a pocket knife to get it out. I put it into my recharging machine where you can put it in for just the battery. That should have been a clue! Eventually, I got it in but in getting it out, it broke the pins.
