No it ain't pretty but will do in a pinch till you get around to rescreening. Thanks to our roofing tear-off guys, one fiber- glass window screen suffered a 9" gash just as mosquito season was ramping-up. I'm not bothered at all that this fix is actually a simulated screen patterned on a solid tape backing (actually a pretty good idea in practice), as it cut easily without fraying and stuck firmly and evenly without wrinkling or bubbling. I match-layered the tape on both sides of the screen over the gash to keep the sticky sides from delaminating or attracting dirt. Since even a true mesh-screen patch will unlikely line-up with your existing mesh, this is a commendable easy fix.

I haven't used it yet, honestly. I use the screen "curtain" doors around my house, you know with the magnetic closures. You walk through and clackety clack, the screen closes behind (unless you metal door catches it first). But you go in and out with all kinds of nonsense that snags the screen, tearing little holes if you're unlucky. Thus this patching tape. It felt strong and sticky. And it's tape. You can use tape, right? Easy repair. How will it look? You will notice it, very likely on a screen door, or window screen. The bugs may make fun of its appearance--from the outside! Let 'em kvetch.

Exactly what I needed. I rent and the screens all have holes of varying degrees when I moved in. I was able to repair them all easily and the tape blends in really well that its not super obvious when looking at it. No issues with multiple rainstorms since and I can now keep my windows open without letting bugs in.

I used this to repair a screen, and it works well. The adhesive is sticky enough to hold securely, but still easy to handle and position. I originally thought the mesh would be metal, but it's actually plastic or some kind of synthetic material, still sturdy enough for patching tears. You can line it up with the existing screen pretty well, but there’s no getting around the fact that it’s a double layer, so it’s definitely noticeable. Which does make me wonder why the screen tape isn’t just clear 😆. That said, it does exactly what I needed it to do, and it’s held up just fine so far. I'm happy with it overall and would use it again for other small to medium sized screen repairs.

Well, it’s been three weeks on my bathroom window screen, and it’s still sticking to both the screen and the screen frame just as well as when I first taped it on it’ been hot where I live. It’s holding up well, so I think that it’s working pretty well. I had to do a little scissor trimming on th frame part of the screen, but that was quick. I have a lot left in case I need it for another “screen emergency” it’s visible on the screen itself, but it’s a bathroom screen facing a carport, co not a big enough deal to worry about. Quick fix for an odd size screen so it works for me!

Will work for my needs. My pool enclosure screen has come out on one end and I need to reattach it. I will use the screen tape to add a couple inches to the length so I can put the spline back in and give it something to grab on to. I will probably sandwich my screen between 2 pieces of the tape to make it a little stronger adhesion. I will also keep it on hand to close up any holes that might get in the screens from our puppy visitors this summer.

I had a hole in my sliding door screen. Using this tape it's basicly screen attached to clear tape. I was worried that just using one side would end up getting debris stuck to it so I cut another piece and stuck it to the other side (thats why it looks a little misaligned. Its noticable but it will stop the misquitos from getting in so that's cool.

I wasn’t sure what to think when it arrived since it was just a roll of tape, however once I opened it, it was very easy to measure to the hole needing to be repaired, and taking off the backing was easy. Then I just lined it up and stuck it to the screen. The adhesive is very strong so far so i anticipate it will work for a while. It is not the most pretty thing to look at, but it did the job and now I don’t have bugs coming in. I think it works great and you get a lot of product for the price.
