Worked perfectly for my application. High quality oarlocks, reasonably priced. Had trouble finding oarlocks to fit my oars, so had to modify slightly. I was using them on oars with 1.25 inch diameter shafts, but the oarlocks are for 1.5 inch, so I used a 2x12 inch piece of an old inner tube to take up the space, and they worked perfectly. Have bought other oarlocks costing nearly double, and these are of identical quality. Good price, quick delivery, great product. Couldn't be happier. Would not hesitate an instant to purchase again.

These oar locks are just what I needed. They fit my oars perfectly, they are very sturdy, and I can now row with confidence. The oar locks that came with my 12' row boat were open topped, with out pins or straps, so for a beginner like me, the oars came loose from the oar locks way too easily. These oar locks clamp fast to the oars. (I've let them on there permanently so far). If I have to let go of the oars for any reason, they dangle in the water, but stay firmly attached to the boat. Perfect. I am very glad I got them. Now instead of being frustrated, I am getting exercise and my wife enjoys going along too. My rowing with the first oar locks really was scary.

These oarlocks appeared stouter than at least one model which didn't have a great review. These did so I bought them. I liked the idea of being able to adjust the position on my oars versus drilled and pinned versions. So far, they have worked very well. I recommend them to anyone wanting clamp on oarlocks.

definately not as good as the heavy duty ones. i should have spent a couple more dollars and bought a second set of heavy duty oarlocks.
