I bought this solar-powered security camera for my chicken coop because we don't have electricity in that area. The camera system is easy to set up and I appreciate its HD live view. The images are very clear during daytime and the night vision is great! The 360° pan and tilt and zoom cover everything I need, so I can check different angles without repositioning the camera. The solar-powered feature is one of my favorite things along with the two way audio. Also, it is weatherproof and the connection was very simple via an application.I always wanted a dependable security system without constantly checking and adjusting, and I finally found it.This security camera meets my expectations!

I purchased these cameras a couple days ago for $70/pair. I wasn't expecting much at that price, but so far these cameras are impressive. I have them set up about 100 feet from the nearest wifi satellite, in different directions. Here are the pros and cons I've experienced so far:PROS:* Setup was easy*Battery life and solar panel recharging seems to work very very well (I'm in the Pacific Northwest, not known for lots of sun, but the batteries are fully recharged by nightfall every day).* The wifi signal is strong for the distance I have them. I don't know know if they are using 2.4gHz or 5Ghz -- and I don't care much* The viewing app is generally intuitive and easy to useCONS:* I am used to 4K cameras, so these at 2K seem grainy/pixaly to me. However, still better than nothing and probably fine for most, especially those spending less than $100 for 2. It is easy enough to see people, birds, etc and make out most activity. however, i don't think I could make out license plates. This is true of both SD and HD settings.* The cameras default to standard definition (SD). There is not a way to set them to default to HD (High definition). If you want HD, you need to switch to it each time you open the app.* The app (IOS) frequently asks for added permissions -- access to Bluetooth, access to my network, access to my camera, microphone. cell service, etc. However, I said No to everything but Wifi access and the cameras seem to work just fine. Each time I open the app though, it asks again. I just decline and continue to use the app.* The cameras DO send their data/pictures to some Internet server somewhere. How do I know? I have the cameras set up on a special wifi network with nothing else on it --- think of it as a special guest network where the cameras are the guests. However, with the app on a device using a DIFFERENT wifi network, I can use the app just fine. So, the cameras must be saving the video somewhere where it can be retrieved via a different Internet connection. I did NOT sign up for the paid subscription, and turned off all Cloud features on the camera settings. Not sure how this is working, but for free it is fine for me.Overall, for the price I think these are nice little cameras. My star ranking takes the price into account.

These cameras do exactly what I need them to do. Coverage on all sides of our yard as there are some blinds spots. These have great connectivity to the WiFi and I’ve had no issues the first few weeks. Recommend!

I freaking love this camera because I was able to get it up and running in 10 min. What took me the longest was figuring out where I wanted to position it. Being a solar powered camera, I was free to position it almost anywhere and the length of the cable to the solar panel is about 9 ft long. The panel itself it about 6"x4". My panel faces east and during the spring it probably gets about maybe 5 hours of sunlight, and that's been enough to keep the battery fully charged with a medium activity of detection on HD video quality. I am curious to see how it will hold up during cloudy weather. It does have a wide view, I think between 180-270 degree range. The app itself has a lot of manual settings, such as volume of the microphone and speaker, (it can get SUPER loud), if you want the video feed mirrored, alarm for detection, and if you want the LED "power" light on; something I think would be helpful for people who don't want to draw attention to this camera. SD quality is pretty solid, I can clearly see leaves blowing on trees and make out the details of my neighbors as they walk through. Even the speaker itself is very clear, I can hear and understand conversations. My only complaint is that I can't find where to make view presets, so if I move the camera angle, I can change it back to a preset view. While you can put a memory card in a free trial for their cloud service is included! I would recommend this camera for someone who doesn't want to rely on having a wall outlet, but also looking for good manual features.UPDATE: I reached out to customer service about getting camera angle presets, and while this model doesn't unfortunately do that, the agent was very kinda and explained to me that this feature will be coming in a later model. Customer service is super friendly, quick, and concise.

Great outdoor/indoor security camera (though it's better for outdoors given the solar panel). The included solar panel keeps this camera charged indefinitely but you can also charge it with any USB C charger. 2K video quality is great. The mounting instructions are simple, and so is the app on your phone which controls the camera. It CAN be put on 5ghz wifi and it will function but the 2.4ghz band is preferred (just wanted to clarify from the item description that you can still connect this camera to 5ghz). The motion detection set on high is very sensitive, but there are various levels you can set it to and you can adjust the hours that it will notify you of motion. You can also set the detection area within the settings so if there's only specific areas in the image you want to include in the detection options (which is good for if your camera is mostly stationary and you don't move it manually much) you can do that too. Overall I'm happy with this camera, I'd give it 5/5.
