I've had a ReoLink Argus for several years when I needed a full function security camera that didn't require constant wired or network connection. The Reolink Go PT Ultra was a definite upgrade. The LTE functionality and solar charging works as expected, but the app continues to impress. You have full control over all functions of the camera including the ability to download videos, preview them, or just watch the live feed. The notifications are probably the best feature as you can tailor what you want based on sensitivity settings or geometry. All the camera you want and none of the BS.

Installed in Florida to watch our house being built. It is slow to respond, and usually will only stay connected for ~5 seconds. There is 4G service and 4/5 bars of cellular service so that should not be the issue. Worse, it completely disconnected after 2 weeks of use requiring that i climb a ladder to reset it. Three weeks later i am back in Michigan and it has totally disconnected again. I have 6 security cameras from a different MFG at my Michigan house that cost $50, work off WIFI and work perfectly... This $200 box is going to become a boat anchor.Update: I improved the rating from 1 to 3 stars as the Realinq team contacted me and gave a full refund after i returned the camera. :) In the interim i purchased a competitor "Wellnk-iot 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera with 360-Day Unlimited Data" which worked much better (no lag) and so far has caused no troubles.

Nous l’avons installé à la cabane à sucre. Il n’y a pas d’électricité, ni de réseau cellulaire. Nous avons installé un amplificateur de signal et ça fonctionne bien.

This camera took some technical know-how to install and get to work. Took serveral trips to AT&T to get connected to network and then realized that the issue was that when I turned it off to go home, it lost signal and would not reconnect. So I went down the road about a mile and sat under the tower until it connected. Then drove home with it connected and it works greate.SERIOUS issue with battery life. We reduced the alerts to vehicles only, and ensured the solar panel was pointing directly at the sun. It lasts 15-20 days depending on the number of alerts. We then have to take it down and charge it with a USB cable in the house. Since my mother is 87, I have to go take it down and I live in another state and am an amputee. Not ideal.

The sim card cameras do not pick up motion detection beyond 5 feet and a lot of times not at all. Tried every setting and angles but no avail. Will be returning.UPDATE:After working with customer service, I have revised my review to a 4. I did finally did get the camera to detect up to 30 feet or more, but still will miss some encroachments. Customer service refunded part of the cost. Thank you. Have since purchased another Reolink WiFi camera for the house. Works better than the Sim card version.

What a great solution. I needed eyes on the construction process f my house in a rural area where I didn’t have power or internet access yet. This camera meet the need and works great. Setup was easy, and is a great value at the price. With the solar option, I don’t have to worry about replacing batteries which is great and provides great battery life.

If you are looking for a security camera or a camera for monitoring in an area where there is no easy access to a power supply and no WiFi, then this is the camera for you. This camera is made specifically to be used where a WiFi signal is not available. It uses cellular carriers to transmit the signal so you must get a SIM card from your carrier for this to work. The camera comes packaged with the camera, a surveillance sticker, a 6W solar panel with a 4m cable, a quick start guide, and a mounting template.Installation is very easy but as mentioned you must install a SIM card in order to receive the signals and videos from this camera. You can have the videos stored on a micro SD card which you can install. It takes up to a 128G micro SD card and there is a 32 Gig micro SD card included. You can also pay to save the video to the cloud. I personally prefer the SD card since memory is so cheap now. There is an app you can put on your phone which is very easy to use and allows you to change the settings on the camera and see and review videos from the camera. You can also set up notifications on the app.The videos from this camera are amazing. They are 4K and very sharp. The camera can pan 350 degrees and tilt 140 degrees so you can cover a very large area with one camera.Night vision on this camera is some of the best I have seen. You can set the camera to notify you when it detects motion and it is very good at analyzing if the motion is from a vehicle, person, or animal.I am very happy with this camera. It is perfect for monitoring any area where there is cell phone service available, which is most areas. You are not limited by requiring a Wi-Fi connection.I do recommend this very high-end camera.

We have seven Reolink PT WiFi cameras at our home covering all access points so I am obviously a fan. But I wanted security at our remote cabin. This one was easier than ever to set up…one of the many things I like about Reolink is that they continually improve their products. Inserted a 365 day/24 GB EIOTCLUB SIM card which connected seamlessly. Attached the solar panel and camera to a cedar tree in our home back yard to test it out…working flawlessly so far. I should be able to watch the Wood Duck and Hooded Merganser babies jump out of the nest box in spring.I will try to remember to update my review once we get back up to the cabin in summer and install it there. The only variable should be cell signal but since I stream YTTV on cell data up there I don’t expect any bumps.

Picture quality is very good. I have had this installed for 2 months with no issues - plenty of cloudy, rainy days and I haven't had it run out of power. I already had another reolink camera, so had the app installed, this was easy to add to the app on my phone, but took some fiddling with my laptop - instead of QR code, there was a number with it that i needed to enter. App was recently updated. Lots of options in the settings for control, areas can be blocked out, controls are good and the camera is fairly quick to respond. I'm guessing it's a provider issue but there is occasionally a significant lag when connecting for live view. Very well made camera and solar panel is excellent.

This cellular mobile security camera from brand REOLINKfunctions over the LTE networks rather than using WIFI, and it was an option I had been considering for some time. It turns out this was the right choice, as it offers a lot of key differences that I now find invaluable.I ordered mine in black, but I believe the brand also offers this model in a white version; both are solar panel powered and offer the same features. This camera is up to the newest LTE standard, and captures footage in 4K res, and connects directly to your mobile devices, in fact it is specifically for them.I noted after some tests that it has vibrant, superior colour night vision compared to my previous security cameras, as well as equally excellent quality day vision, and pans at wider angles than I could see before, of my surrounding property. As already noted, this model is solar charged, and unique from what I have used before; the panel seems to captures energy with surprising efficiency. It's really great that the camera can also stay completely independent of any service plans, transferring all data directly to a memory card, giving you a lot more control over your footage, viewable and manageable with an easy to use app that had plenty of features I was happy with.I can't claim to be any sort of security camera expert, but I have certainly tried a variety of options in the past. This one from REOLINK has helped to give me more insight about my surroundings, and also gives me a renewed perspective about what I previously though camera footage could look like — it really is a substantial "night and day difference" both figuratively and actually.I recommend this cam to anyone looking at any other LTE cellular security camera options. 5 stars.

It was OK to set up. Not easy but not the worst. Bought a sim card and data plan as needed to run this. Worked great for several weeks. Then the solar panel just stopped working so now I have to climb a ladder to take this down and charge the camera every few days. Battery lasts about 3 days. Also, it seems to randomly choose what to record. When it does record you have to be super close to it. At times, I've stood in front of the camera and it didn't recognize me there.I thought it was amazing for the first month. Now I am regretting throwing away $200 plus the cost of my data plans. Huge waste of money. I'm so glad that I didn't purchase a second one like I almost did.*********Update:They contacted me with my review asking if I wanted a full refund. They did not list any strings attached but when I accepted they wanted me to provide info from the unit and pics to troubleshoot. I said no (I don't have time to be climbing up and down a ladder messing with the camera). Now they want me to pay shipping and return it somewhere that appears outside of Amazon before they provide this supposed refund. And who knows if I'll even get it after that.If they could get the camera to work properly it would be great but that is not what they originally contacted me about and offered. I don't have time to be going back and forth with them all day. The product shouldn't have stopped working properly so soon after buying. Now I'm skeptical on the company as a whole after they offered one thing, then changed it, then added limitations to the first offer.
