I got this to use to remove an old 1990's single vanity mirror attached to the wall on top and bottom rails. This device was super quick and easy to use for a mirror of that size. For anything larger, I would go with a pair. Just pop in the battery, press the power button to turn it on when you're ready to use it, hold down the power button to create suction (you can hear the frequency of the sound change as it is creating the suction and it clearly displays the psi on the little LED), do your lifting and moving, then when ready to release the suction, double press the power button and it will instantly release. The batteries even came pre-charged on mine. It really could not have been much easier. The only thing I don't like is that mine did NOT come with an AC adapter to charge the batteries, only a USB charging cable to plug into your own AC adaptor, so you will have to use your own existing cell phone charger or buy a separate USB charging plug. I can understand not including the plug for a cell phone accessory, but it is a bit odd to omit it for a power tool with a non-universal battery. I almost docked a star for it, but the device is so simple and effective to use and priced accordingly, so I went with a full 5 stars, especially since many wireless tools don't even come with the batteries, never mind the charger these days. The manufacturer should really consider including a plug, though, as not everybody happens to have an easily accessible multi-port USB charger as I do for my stacks of VR power banks, controllers, and cell phones, which is why the lack of a plug wasn't a deal-breaker for me, but might be irritating to others.

What I have here is a 1/2" thick piece of glass that weighs nearly 100 pounds and was dropped years ago when one of two suction lifting cups failed. That could have ended much worse than a broken corner. It has since been relegated to "when I need a heavy and flat surface" duty.No such questioning with this vacuum suction pump. It builds vacuum quickly and with the readout, one knows exactly how much suction it has. When it starts dropping, it will automatically run the pump again to build more vacuum. Time to let it go? Just hold the button. Sheets of 1/4" and 5/16" plate metal at my work? No sweat. The batteries recharge off of its built-in USB-C ports. It's not just for lifting, though. While I was fueling up, I noticed the truck next to me had a pretty sizeable but "soft dent" on the side of its bed. "Hey, can I try something?" Stuck the suction cup on and the dent was popped back out. Perfect, no -- it's no replacement for PDR -- but he was very thankful that it at least looked a lot better and all in less than the time it took to fuel up. "What do I owe you?" "Nothing. Just pass a favor on the next time you see someone who could use a helping hand."For the typical homeowner, this is not an everyday tool, but when it comes time to working with glass, sheet metal, or other smooth panels, having a lifting tool that one can rely on is incredibly valuable. 5 stars.

I ordered this not so much for a specific task but rather for general use around the shop and yard. I have seen these in the past, but I have never tried or even held one before. This is an amazing piece of technology and capable of delivering what it promises and then some. I have tested it in the shop and was able to put it on various types of surfaces and as long as it was able to get a tight seal, it would clamp down and stay there. To be clear, I have only tested it so I don't know how well it maintains the seal for instance if you are carrying something for a long distance, but time will tell. I also don't know how long the battery works and I suppose that depends on usage, ambient temperature, and other factors and again, more will become clear as I use it. They include two batteries which will make it easier to use this lifter for extended periods of time regardless of how long a battery lasts so that's a nice feature. I do wish that they would have designed a better holding container rather than just putting a Styrofoam type insert inside. If issues come up with use or other problems, I will be sure to come back and update this review, for now I have no problem recommending it.

I got this electric suction cup after deciding I never wanted to lift another piece of glass by it's edges again. I was removing mirrored backsplashes for a kitchen remodel and saw my life flash before my eyes when I though one of the cut pieces (sharp edge) might take my fingers off (it was very heavy). I received the single (not the currently listed double suction cup set), so I got one electric suction cup and two batteries. The batteries fit the housing, but they don't match up perfectly. You kind of have to wiggle the battery to get it in. There doesn't seem to be any source of retention other than the knife connectors, the batteries could fall out with a bit of impact. The listing says they're rated for 600lbs, even at 300lbs (assuming they mean 300 each) I would be cautious. The handle reminds me of the cutoff saw I got from HF that snapped as I pressed through a steel square tube once. That is to say that it seems less strong and more brittle than 300lbs would require. In any case, when I do floor tiles I expect the suction cup won't have to hold more than about 40-50lbs. For mirrors and glass, I'll likely use another suction cup.The pressure display on the handle is very good. It updates constantly. The battery power display (on the battery) is very good. It lets you know if your suction is fading and if you have another pass in the battery or not.Kind of overpriced for what you're getting, but still cheaper than the big brands. I wouldn't use it for granite or marble, but for mirror removal and floor tile, it works well.
